Truffle Portobello Pizza

Hands down best vegan pizza I've ever had! We were visiting the area and came across the most delicious vegan pizzeria! We were with a group of friends and ordered the truffle mushroom and arugula pizza! It was so garlicky and the crust was thin and soft but crunchy on the edges. We next tried the jackfruit bbq pizza which had the perfect bbq sauce, sweet and tangy on the meaty texture of jackfruit. This was the perfect blend of ingredients, very savory. The staff helped us with picking the pizzas and sizes. Very friendly and the pizzas were ready quickly. They also have the most amazing fresh pressed juices that are prepackaged. I had the soursop juice which was so yummy! They have many other tropical flavors. Highly recommend eating here even if you aren't vegan. It's a healthier option to normal pizza.

I went to Plant pizza last night for the first time. I created my own Pizza that included: a gluten free crust, no cheese, tomato sauce, arugula, mushrooms and red peppers. It was really tasty, healthy, and light. The next thing on the menu I want to try is the jackfruit pizza! That looks really good as well! The customer service was very professional. The ladies taking my order were extremely friendly. I would def go back to try other pizza options on the menu!

Pizza for Valentine's Day. We ate yummy, delicious, and cheesy slices with buffalo cauliflower wings and savory garlic knots. The pizza parlor had a steady flow of customers, but they still managed to get everything out in a timely manner. Our order was fresh and hot when brought out by their friendly staff members. We ordered whole pepperoni and Mediterranean pizzas . The pesto on the Mediterranean was delicious . Overall it was a delicious experience.

The location has no warmth or ambiance. Just a blank white walls and cliché stock photos on the wall. The restaurant was empty when I arrived to order. The staff didn't welcome me or even say "hello". I disregarded all this since my order was to-go. I assumed the pizza would be great since the service wasn't. When I returned to pick up my order the baker behind the counter just looked at me like I was bothering him. I smiled and said "hello"; all I got back was a cold look. I got my pies and left. Assuming my experience couldn't get any worse, but, I was very wrong. The door says "brick oven", it's not brick oven. The vegan cheese is cheap and has the consistency of rubber. The sauce is bland and too thick. The dough was undercooked and chewed like gum. The toppings on the meatless lover were a bit over cooked and overly salty. I was hopeful and give the place a shot but never again. I could of made a better pie going to a supermarket and just buying the Ingredients myself. That's basically what this place does.

We are back again!!! Just as good as before! My only critique... the jackfruit pizza was a bit too sweet for me. I wish they balanced the taste with some heat. But that mushroom pizza... AMAZING. I wish we got that as a whole pizza. I even ask for the augural lettuce to be tossed in some olive oil before adding to the pizza. That put it over the top! I'm not vegan and I love this place! I definitely recommend.

Clean establishment, lots of menu options, and great taste; winning combinations. I ordered the Jackfruit BBQ pizza and it was flavorful. Looking forward to trying more :-)

Walking in there's not much to look at, which is fine really I was picking up takeout. It isn't really a place I'd sit down to eat but it's clean, modern, specious. You can watch them knead the dough and make your pie which is a nice touch. It's New York style vegan pizza. They have everything you could want from a pizzería without being artisan like a mellow mushroom (which I love but I don't want to pay 30$ for a medium pizza) this place is perfect, reasonably priced as we all know plant eating isn't cheap. I really enjoyed the pepperoni pizza as a meat lover and my wife and kid (the resilient vegetarians) really liked it. It was great we could all share a pie and be happy. They were quick, kind, and attentive. This place deserves more foot traffic.

Gluten-Free Crust Half BBQ Jackfruit BBQ Pizza and Half Mediterranean Pizza

I am very sensitive to most vegan cheese due to the processed ingredients and such. However I never have to worry about that here because of the quality ingredients and vegan cheese they use! Absolutely LOVE it so good! Could almost eat 2 pizzas but my partner and I always end up sharing this one Highly recommend this amazing vegan pizza place. New all vegan Italian restaurant we tried for lunch with soups, salads, pastas, paninis and pizza. It's an order at counter style with several indoor tables for dining. We received helpful recommendations while sorting through so many choices that, as vegans, we were not used to. Our family decided on the garlic knots, eggplant Diablo, spaghetti and meatballs, baked ziti, side salad and a Mediterranean pizza. All were excellent. Note that two garlic knots already come with each pasta dish so we had some to take home along with some of each pasta - good size portions! We will be returning.

Plant Pizza is incredible. I live in NYC & was visiting. There isn't a restaurant like this in NY, vegan pizza + all of the other vegan options on the menu. The portions are huge! The server today, 12/15/22, Mary- was lovely, informative, helpful. Super clean space. Would definitely visit again and recommend!

So good! Restaurant is new so there is no big sign up yet, but there is a sign on the door. There is seating and the store is pretty plain. It is very clean. My food was delicious!!! I ordered a medium sausage pizza and a half dozen garlic rolls. The food is made in front of you behind the counter and it came pretty quickly. I really loved the garlic rolls, they were hot and chewy with a great marina dipping sauce. The pizza was great, with melted cheese and the same great tomato sauce. I can't wait to try more food on the menu. They also have salads and pasta dishes. The restaurant is located in a busy shopping strip mall but there is plenty of parking. Prices were fair.

Wherever 'mozzarella' is listed on the menu, is that vegan cheese (aka cheeze)?

Yes. This is a fully plant based (vegan) pizza spot. I believe they use Daiya.

Unfortunately, I haven't worked in that office for the past two years, so I hadn't had a slice of Joe's in quite some time... at least not until recently. While running an errand in Cooper City for my wife, I spotted their familiar sign and decided to pop in to see whether they were affiliated with the Hollywood location. I was pleasantly surprised to learn that they were. Nelson--an extremely affable pizza chef--told me it was the same operation and that he used to work at the Hollywood location. I told him how happy I was to meet him, explaining that I'd been eating his pizza for years, and he insisted I try a slice since it had been so long. This is the kind of place that uses Grande cheese and truly high-quality ingredients. It's the kind of place where they genuinely care about the food--and about the people they're feeding. I accepted graciously, and with my first bite, I was transported to another universe: a perfectly crisp crust with no soggy undercarriage and just the right balance of cheese and sauce. This place--and Nelson--produces a nearly perfect pizza. If you're looking to support a locally owned business that cares about its customers and delivers top-notch pizza, run to Joe's Old School. One last thought: I believe the true measure of a pizzeria can be found in its most modest offering--the plain cheese slice. I love a meat pie, a veggie pie, a garbage pie, and all kinds of creative combinations, but there is something truly special about the plain cheese slice at Joe's Old School. Even if you order pepperoni, veggies, or anything else, make sure you try the plain cheese pizza here. And tell them a very loyal customer sent you--they'll love that.

This place has not too many tables so it's best to call if you're really set on going a certain time and day. The inside is cutely decorated. They provided some garlic bread for free. The bread was light and good and the garlic flavor was very mild (which I prefer!) We also got the meatballs as an appetizer which were very good as well. We got the eggplant parm, lasagna, vodka pasta, and the cannelloni. The lasagna was GREAT. The pastas all had a good flavor and portion as well. Inside while we were eating, lots of people came in for takeout or to dine in and it seemed like the employees knew everyone. I thought it was nice that they value their returning customers so much. The senior management at Sicilian Oven definitely keeps tabs on their stores and ensures that the stores are living up to their expectations. This one is no different. The food was spot on! The garlic rosemary bread is to die for. We've often thought of just getting a couple of those and a plate of pasta to share. However, today we had a small Sicilian salad (with gorgonzola added on) to go with the bread. Chef's kiss! We then spent quite some time, while we drank our wine, discussing what to have. Sometimes we opt for the fire roasted shrimp Palermo, or the cervellata with onions and peppers, or the wings, etc. Today, we did our go-to pizza; cervellata, mushrooms, grilled onions, double garlic and double basil. It hits all the taste points, and these guys make those flavors work exceptionally well together. Once that first bite (with the perfect fold) hits those taste buds (mine I throw some red pepper flakes on to give it an extra kick), it makes you dance in your chair. Did we take half of it home? Yes!!! Was the rest just as good the next day? Oh absolutely!!!!! Now, if I could just convince them to make that pizza on top of the garlic rosemary bread. Mangia!!!
