I started using Bladerunner in Spring 2023 and renewed their services for 2024. However, in April…read more2024, I had out-of-town guests arriving and my lawn was heavily overgrown. After texting multiple times, they promised a specific service day but failed to show up or call. Because of this, I terminated my contract and hired someone else. In Spring 2025, the owner, Dallas, reached out and asked for another opportunity, promising better reliability and consistent communication. I decided to give them a second chance. Unfortunately, the exact same issues have resurfaced. As of today, September 30, they have not serviced my property since August 20, despite recently asking for an increase in their per-service rate. I have sent multiple text messages requesting regular mowing, a lower cut, and trimming for two bushes. While I received several promises via text that they would come out, they have repeatedly failed to show up. I am highly disappointed by the lack of professionalism, broken promises, and poor communication. I cannot recommend Bladerunner.

The paver work will last 50 years, the bushes he selected were large and lush and even bigger than I first selected, everything is well placed and level! The sod work was excellent, they cleaned up everything from gravel in the street and yard to any trash or mess each night. For the Sod, they hand and shovel removed the old weeded areas without pesticides and made sure the earth was properly prepared with a layer of sod dirt before they laid it down. I highly recommend G and R if you want the work done properly and to last. Thank you Gairy and your whole polite and knowledgeable team.

Third job: (Last fall) paid for manual pulling/removal of Bermuda grass from garden beds, plus weed control and mulch. Emphasis on manual removal - explicitly was told they would pull all the Bermuda out manually to get all the roots out. Took a bit of chasing around to get them to actually get it on the books, and then when they did come they just buzzed everything with a string trimmed and sprayed weed killer over that. We agreed to still pay the full price on the condition that Gairy would send a team out in the spring once the Bermuda woke up and inevitably came through the mulch since it wasn't removed. He agreed, and we left it at that. Flash forward to this year and has completely ghosted us and been non-responsive. Even tried asking about having a bunch of other services added so that it wouldn't be a totally free trip, but still No luck. We finally gave up on any hope of getting the promised services, hired Mr. Outdoor Living, dropped like $4K on services with them instead and will be sticking with them next year when we do a sprinkler system and stone retaining walls.

Best of all, we have no contract. I don't know why anyone would want to pay for lawn service year round when they're not needed from October to April.
