From the moment she walked in, she sensed how nervous, scared, and emotional I was, and she met me with nothing but patience, kindness, and understanding. She spoke to me gently, never rushed the appointment, and made sure I was emotionally and mentally ready before moving forward with anything. Don't come to this location. I got my implant removed here this week & it was a horror story. To preface, I've had it removed before and nothing like this happened. The dr numbed me & didn't ask if I could feel anything before she started cutting into my arm. I felt the entire thing. I was very obviously in pain and she continued to cut until it was completely open before asking if I felt it. She made numerous stabs at me saying she can't get it out because i'm bleeding too much & asked me twice if i lied about what meds i had taken that day & said it's almost like i took blood thinners. Today is recovery day 3 and my cut is still bleeding through the bandages. She was not nice, she was not professional. 10/10 Do not pick this location unless you want to feel judged, pain & uncomfortable. read more

Rosie at the front desk is so sweet and kind. so is Mara !!! accepted my preferred name even complimented it and treated me with such kindness. my doctor Christina was amazing and so sweet even with my horrible horrible anxiety. and lastly. selina. girl. you are amazing. if you have a fear of needles please ask for Selina if she is there. I've had a fear of needles for 22 years and I no longer am scared of it. she has such a chill approach to it that you never notice when it's happening. she deserves all the praise and appreciation for what she does. thank you to all of you who treated me so well and was so supportive during this really scary time for me. please go to this location everyone if you have to go. so worth it. read more

Love that there's a PP in Corona now! Ive been here at least 5+ times now and each time has been great. I used to have to go all the way to the one in Riverside. The Corona location is a lot nicer and a lot less busy too. You can easily get next day appointments most of the time and I never wait more than 5 min in the lobby and I'm never left sitting by myself waiting for long periods of time for the doctor to show up. Everything flows very smoothly (as long as you are on time of course). All the staff here are so nice and makes me feel so comfortable and are never judgmental. Also great that this location is in a nice part of town and the inside and outside are always very clean. Love the work that Planned Parenthood does!!!! Such a great organization. Reading the 1 star reviews surprises me as I've been here 5 or more times and each time went great because I was on time, remained professional, listened/followed directions, and gave truthful and accurate answers. The stuff written in the 1 star reviews were all very odd. I think it's one of those situations where if you're always finding problems wherever you go, perhaps you are the problem (look at their profiles and see they ONLY or mostly give out 1 star reviews. Literally all of them). Just remember the type of clientele PP mostly deals with. I go here because they helped me out with getting BC when I was 16, and I think they're a great organization and want to continue supporting them even tho I could go to a gyno at a regular hospital. But I know most are not in that situation. Just remember to be professional if you expect professionalism back. read more

Are they allowed to refuse care? I went in early this morning because I had an appointment at 7:40am. They didnt have me until 1:00pm. I confirmed when I got home that I in fact set it for 7:40am. So because I dont have transportation I arrived late to my 1pm appointment and "sorry, we cannot accommodate you." I had waited a week for this appointment and out of desperation I had to say out loud. Please, I am in pain, I know I have something, my kidneys hurt, it hurts when I urinate and there is a discharge. Please." They still wouldn't see me and to make matters worse she said, we dont have anything for this week. Called ahead of time to ask if they do STD testing for someone who doesn't have any symptoms just wants to take care of themselves and they said yes. Made me an appointment, drove all the way over there. Filled all the paperwork out, and then I'm told they can't test me unless I have symptoms! I ask that exact question on the phone. Why lie?!? And why wouldn't you help people who want to take care of their health, isn't that your big thing!!! What a joke! read more

It took me a while to book an appointment and when I finally did I booked it at the wrong clinic. Luckily the nurses here told me they could help me anyways and mentioned they weren't super busy. Every single nurse here was super nice and super helpful, they answered all of my questions and gave informative answers. read more

Waiting for over an hour for a depo shot I get quarterly because of this. Still waiting as I write this review. Very unorganized, unprofessional, & ethics highly questionable. Bad vibes as soon as we walked in. My husband went in for an appointment and he is terrified of needles. They wouldn't let me in with him and told me to wait outside because they were going on lunch after almost 2 hours in the waiting room. Then finally when my husband comes out, he tells me everything that happened. The first nurse tried to withdraw blood but couldn't find a vein and poked him three times before calling in another nurse. Both of them looked very young and didn't know what they were doing. One of the nurses said "oh I think I feel a vein" and the other just says "oh just try it" Then continuously insert the needle in and out. my husband was poked at least five times and have the marks to show for it. He came home with redness and needle marks. They both couldn't find a vein and had to call a third nurse who was more experienced. Unfortunately planned Parenthood was our last resort to get him the medicine we need and will not come back again. read more

Went into pp because my friend told me that they could do check up for pregnancy. I booked an apt online and come in to find out that they only give you an ultra sound if you're going to have an abortion. Overall a waste of time and i wish that there website would have said this information so i didn't waste my time. They also wouldn't let my boyfriend sit with me so we had to wait outside. They still made me wait about 40 minutes before they told me this information that should just be posted on their website. Or at the very least told to me when I filled out the information paperwork. Very bad vibes inside too. Wouldn't recommend unless you're only having an abortion. read more

After my excruciating abdominal pain was marked up to a UTI and I was given massive antibiotics, I went to PP for a second opinion. I've never been to a PP and didn't know what to expect, but I'm here to say it was such a lovely and kind experience. Everyone there truly cares about the health and well-being of everyone who comes in. They take masks, social distancing, and hand-washing incredibly seriously. And most importantly, they took my concerns very seriously, and the doctor said I had a cyst (that popped! Ow!!). The doctor even drew me a picture to help me understand how cysts happen! And reminded me to take my birth control on time to prevent these guys. Thank you! read more

Everyone that works here are Angels. It bothers me that there is always rude, old women outside picketing and making them look like they're doing witchcraft inside their office. All the staff are friendly and non judgemental towards anyone and are only here to help those in need of medical service. I temporarily lost my health ins and they have always helped to ensure I get my birth control at a affordable cost and I cant thank them enough . I usually go to FPA woman's health, and always have a great experience. Today I decided to give planned parenthood another chance. I called in to get an appointment at 3:30pm. I told the woman on the phone that I will have kids with me, is that okay? She said , "that was fine but they will not be able to go in the back. " FINE. I only needed condoms anyways lol. I asked to get an idea of how long this will take and she couldn't tell me. FINE. She never once asked their age. ( they're 7, 8 ) As we are checking in the woman starts questioning my kids age and who did i speak to on the phone because they should have said 13+ is only allowed to be left in the lobby. I look over and there's a toddler with her older brother lol. She said they made an exception for them today because he's 16. HE LOOKED ALL OF 11 YEARS OLD. and " we are risking getting covid from YOUR kids." I glance over again at the snot nose toddler .... after making me feel like i'm the one not thoroughly doing MY job right or asking the correct questions. I decided to leave. The fact the manager was willing to go back, and fourth about a situation that could have been resolved over the phone. AND still take me lol Was so unprofessional and made me uncomfortable. If there are rules ... apply them and stick to it. simple as that. I had no problem not coming in today. Which is why I asked if i could even bring them to begin with. geez. read more

DO NOT COME HERE. Not even 1 star. Let me start off by saying I'm pregnant and I came in with my husband. I was told that my husband can't be in the office with me at all. This was funny to me considering all other urgent care and hospitals let your partner accompany you especially during your first pregnancy. (How I know this is because I called a new urgent care for my next appointment) I was scared and alone at this point. I asked for self pay. My husband was in the car with the money. They would not stop asking me about insurance they thought I had. Im stressed out already I just wanted to see how my baby is doing. I kept telling them self pay. She kept telling me I had another insurance and to call them. Why would I have to call them if I'm paying out of my pocket? when they call me back another woman introduces herself as the "supervisor" after I had already sat down. I felt relieved My husband was going to pay in the car I was sick of hearing and talking about money and I wanted to get this appointment done I was eager to see how my baby is doing. She proceeded to ask me the same questions about the insurance that the front desk lady asked. I told her I wanted to self pay. I was so stressed out after all of them asking and asking. I wanted to self pay what do u not understand. I walked out, I'm not going back in why would I trust my pregnancy with them? They didn't even understand my first answer. These people are stupid. I said self pay now let's get on.. Why are you going to keep provoking a stressed out pregnant woman when she told you the answer. Never trust your health with stupid people. Made an appointment online , received a confirmation text. Get to this place for them to tell me I do not have an appointment. I show them the text they said they don't know what's going on. Fine, I made another appointment in front of them they don't see it. The apparent "office manager" as she claimed said I would have to wait like a walk in.
