Appealing presentation of the store front, construction & parking was not convenient. Lots of nice merchandise & friendly staff However the piercing I got was terrible . I had my neck pierced before and loved it, and the fella went through the original scar tissue and used a curved barbell vs a staple piercing that wasn't big enough. The piercing swelled over each end the the piercing stated to heal inside my neck no where to be seen. I don't think the guy knew what he was doing . read more

If I could vote 0 stars I would. DO NOT GO HERE FOR A TATTOO. Not only is the artist inexperienced, the location has poor costumer service. I got a finger tattoo here and the lines are not remotely straight. I should have ran when I noticed they did not provide an arm rest as support, and when I saw the artist's shakey hands. They also accidentally poked a different finger with the needle and left a tattoo somewhere else!!! They will not offer a refund, and responded so unprofessionally to my email request for one. I will now be spending MORE money to get it touched up somewhere else. Save your money, don't go here for tattoos. read more

I got a total of 4 piercings here (I'm not sure why I kept going back). One of my piercings was put on way too tight and it was unable to heal. I had to take it out after it was infected and it permanently scarred my ear. Got my nose pierced and they allowed me to use a piercing that was so small it fell through my piercing hole (partly my fault for choosing that stud, but a professional should not have let it happen). Got my nose pierced again (this time a ring to avoid the last problem) and they never closed the piercing. The piercing ended up closing on the inside of my nose and the ring was half in my nose and only holding on because it was tightly clenched to my nose (the entire time I was wondering why I could not spin the ring?). When I tried to change this piercing, the ring fell off as soon as it was opened wider and i tried to put a stud in and the hole was half closed. I absolutely do not recommend going here. I have had similar issues that other reviews listed have had. Save yourself and your body and go somewhere that will take better care of you. read more

If you are from Woodbridge and need a cartilage piercing, this is the place to go. However, if you are able to make the trek to downtown Toronto, I would advise you to do so. I got all my cartilage piercings done here (a total of 4) and belly button piercing. The first time was when I got my double helix done. I was charged $110+tax, then waited a few minutes for the piercer, was marked by her, reviewed her suggested piercing area, and after approval, got my piercings. Pain level for the first wasn't bad. You get that very distinct and memorable ear POP sound. The second consecutive piercing was a lot more painful than the first since blood was already rushed to the ear from the first piercing. I didn't have a cell phone at the time so I put my best friend's as my contact info. The first time went well. They seem to be a family run business and the women there kept calling me "bella". It was a time where you would be able to get a discount if you told them the verbal "code" they revealed on facebook. The second time I came over was a year later to get my rook done and it was seamless and honestly the most painless piercing I've ever had done. I remember paying $55 for this at the time, which is a fairly reasonable rate when compared to the closest piercing/tattoo studio in Woodbridge that charged almost double for a single piercing. Compared to Toronto prices, this fee was just slightly higher at that time, but I came here because I was in the area with my friends. The third time I arrived was for my belly button piercing. This time my piercing healed very poorly and scarred (I still have the scar). My body rejected the piercing within 3 weeks of having it pierced. The same thing happened to my friend who got hers pierced at the same time, so it's hard to think it was a coincidence. If I remember correctly, the belly piercing was somewhere $65 to $80 + tax. My friend eventually came back half a year later to get hers repierced and her body again rejected the piercing within 3 weeks. I would advise to go elsewhere if you want a belly piercing...I also noticed they never changed my contact info after giving them my cell number when I got my rook done. The fourth time I arrived was for my daith. When I asked for it at the counter, the piercer didn't know which piercing I was talking about and had to google it (this should have been a red flag). She had trouble piercing me with a straight needle (generally, since a daith is so internal, you need a curved needle). The needle was in my ear for a good 2 minutes before she was able to get the jewelry in. I loved this piercing, but she pierced it too outwards and my body rejected it within 3 weeks again. I was very disappointed. When I accompanied my friend to a reputable tattoo/piercing shop downtown, that was when I met people with over 10+ years' experience dedicated to the art, and who actually knew what a daith piercing was. Their aftercare instructions were also a lot more thorough than "don't touch it and soak it in sea salt". Overall, I have a mixed opinion on Planet Silver. Definitely great for regular helix piercings, but I'd go elsewhere for more complex cartilage piercings and belly button piercings. read more

I don't know where to begin... but this place is such an amazing place. They even do mini tattoos now ( only place I go to ) and I've been getting my piercings from them for years. Very reliable source. Will add you on Facebook later and they respond to any question within an hour!! Their so friendly and welcoming there. DO NOT get pierced here. I had the absolute worst experience here. I called this morning at 10am and was told the piercer would be in at 1:30. I come at 1:30 prompt and am greeted by a dog in a diaper which was my first clue. That is so unsanitary. The lady at the desk was so rude. She informed me the piercer went for lunch (he was only supposed to start at 1:30) she calls him and converses w him in Spanish, laughing and then when she gets off the phone she informs me he's sick and at the doctor. He then calls back and asks to speak to me. He calls me sweetheart which was very creepy. He told me he ate and immediately starting throwing up and was at the doctor and may have to go to the hospital. How could all this happen in 12 mins?! LIES. I asked, if I had an appt why no one would call me?! No answer. So I get off the phone w him and the lady tells me she is the piercer. I asked how long she has been doing piercings and she replied 3/4 years. Who doesn't know how long they have been in their profession?! She was holding a cigarette and a lighter. So unprofessional. Additionally she didn't have one picture of her own work on her phone. I checked out their Instagram and all there is are pictures of "girls" I wouldn't be surprised if they are running a brothel out of the establishment. I was disgusted. This place needs to be investigated by the health board and shut down. read more
