I've rented from these guys 3 times . The first two times were great . We rented a small bouncy house and shaved ice machine and they were definitely the hit of the party and easy to set up and use . Last week I rented a water bouncy slide for my sons birthday . Originally I had wanted a bouncy house so I paid the deposit and then was told that the one I wanted was no longer available so I ended up getting the water one instead . Not a huge deal . After we got the water slide home and set up it our first impression was that it was really cool and the kids would love it . After looking closer at it , it was pretty clear this thing had been through a lot . It had at least 10 spots where it had been ripped and sewn together and you could feel a good amount of air blowing through them . I ended up spending most of my time watching the kids like a hawk and making sure they weren't too rough with it so it wouldn't rip further (which they stated would cost 100$ per rip if that happened) . Anyway , I can't complain about the company , the customer service , or the prices . The prices definitely beat out all other places I've looked at . * I've since spoken with someone from the company and they were awesome at addressing my concerns and assured me that they only charge for major damage ! I have zero complaints about the actual products that we rented, but the customer service when we went in to place the order was terrible, they didnt have all the information and they kept telling me just to pull it up on my phone. I ended up over ordering and had it on my to do list to cancel what I didn't need later that night but ended up having a really bad accident and ended up in the er. This was a great rental place. The equipment was well taken care of, clean, and worked great! The loading And unloading went smooth and the staff was very friendly and helpful. They have instructional videos on YouTube that are so helpful and make setting up everything easy. It explains cleanup as well. Very impressed will definitely use them again. THE WORST PLACE TO RENT. The pricing was great ($50 a day) and the products were exactly as expected, but the customer service alone will be enough for me to never return. With the constant annoying texts and snarky attitude from the employee, it was not worth it. I was late to return a jumpy, and they were gonna charge me $50 dollars for every hour I was running behind. I ended up renting it an extra day, instead of them yanking my eye out for not being on time. Ridiculous! You would think for a company that deals with mostly families, would be more understanding. When I arrived the employee started yanking things out of my car without permission, touching and moving my seats and scratching my interior. A smile and some compassion would've gone along way on an already stressful and eventful weekend. I could've been a regular customer using their products for each of my sons parties but I do not recommend Plan-It Rentals to anyone unless you're the most punctual person in the world and you're scratching at the bottom of the barrel... and even that I'd tell you to reconsider. These guys were the best. My wife accidentally sent out invites for Saturday instead of Wednesday for my 5 year old (we had two kids' birthday parties that week). Wednesday came, we got the bounce house, but no kids showed up. My wife was devastated when she realized what she had done. Plan-it Rentals really took care of us. They told us to keep the bounce house through Saturday and didn't charge us very much more to keep it the extra time. My wife felt redeemed and my kid got to enjoy a bounce house for much longer than a normal day's rental. We had already used Plan-it Rentals in the past and had great service with them, but not like this. This was above and beyond and they totally saved my kid's birthday party. Limo rental from Plan-It made earned a whole lotta "cool parents" points for a low cost and minimal effort party. We celebrated the last day of school by picking up 6 kids and taking them all around Salt Lake City. Our day included brief stops at a handful of parks, ice cream, etc. The kids' goal was simply to be seen getting in and out of their fancy car. (The DVD player was an added bonus.) The limo was perfectly comfortable for six tweens and two drivers; there was also a large trunk for skateboards, rollerblades, cooler, etc. The people of Plan-It were professional, efficient, and responsive, especially by text message. Everyone was great, from the cheerful receptionists to the courteous attendants who showed us how to work the car, and the owner too. I will definitely be back! read more

We've used Plan-it Rentals several times, but I don't think I've left them a review. We LOVE these guys and the products they offer. We've done several bounce houses in the past and the kids have a blast. We had a family reunion and decided to get another bounce house for the younger kids and got their Laser Tag package for the older kids and adults. We had an absolute blast! The laser tag game let's you pick the type of games that you want to play (even has a custom option if you want to get creative). Cory even told us about a video we could watch that was super helpful getting started. I would recommend watching the video (it's about 18 min long) and then get everything set up before you get the kids around. They even had some pop ups that the kids used to hide behind. Every time we have used Plan-it Rentals, we get tons of compliments on the products and everyone always has a great time. They have made the rental process quick and easy, and even have a simple after-hours trailer that you can safely bring your stuff back to. I have used Plan-It Rentals twice recently. Their prices are reasonable (if not at times altogether too low) and the owner and staff are friendly and happy. Upon returning a rented vehicle, I had to wait 20 minutes for my wife to pick me up. I waited in their front lobby and from this vantage point I could see and hear how they operate their business. It was impressive and consistent with my experience. When you call in, you can hear the person smiling. When you come in, you are greeted quickly with an enthusiastic smile. In an age of dying customer service, Plan-It Rentals gets it. They understand the art of good customer relations and are truly customer oriented. This was our first time ever renting a camping trailer and it was a fantastic experience. I loved the youtube video that gave me an intro to the trailer and how to set it up. Check-out and return were very fast and easy. I liked that I could return the trailer after hours so that I didn't have to stress about getting it back by a certain time. We rented the Aspen Dutchman Bunkhouse with Slideout. The trailer was very clean and had lots of room for the 8 of us that stayed in it. Staff was very helpful and curteous. I shopped around a lot and this was the best value we could find. I also appreciated that they weren't super tight about it being overly clean when we brought it back and that they do an additional cleaning to make sure it is to their standard before sending it off to the next customer. read more

My wife and I rented a bounce house from here and we couldn't be more impressed.... We were originally going to pay 80 for their cool shark bounce house and some balls to put in the pit... When we arrived they didn't see that we needed 500 balls so to make up for it they removed the price for the balls gave us like 200 balls and ANOTHER BOUNCE HOUSE for no charge!!! That made my sons party great because more kids had the ability to play at once with the 2 bounce houses.. Sound system renters beware! We are beyond disappointed in the PA Pro system which claims to have bluetooth capabilities and the ability to hook together as many speakers as you need. We rented 4 speakers for our wedding reception, planning on using it to play music through using the bluetooth capabilities. Both the website and the customer service man confirmed this. We were given boxes of cords with no instructions and 4 speakers. After over an hour of time invested in setting them up and 4 different technology specialists helping to figure out how to do this, we determined they can only be played using bluetooth if the speakers are connected together with an AUX cord. Please note that the AUX cord provided was 2 feet long, barely able to reach when the speakers were right next to each other! This left us stringing many AUX cords together to try and make the system work. We were unable to use 2 of the speakers, only had music playing through half of our venue. They then said that we were missing a cable when they were returned even though everything they gave us was returned. Customer Service was unavailable as it was a Saturday and their video on the website provided no answers. This sketchy place had us hold the reservation with a credit card and then made it mandatory to pay in cash for the speakers, leaving us no way to dispute the charges for the items we were unable to use and allowing them to charge our card for the "missing cable" that we never received. This false advertising left us without the music we needed for our wedding reception, wasted over an hour of set up time, and left many of us frazzled on such a special day. To say we are disappointed would be an understatement. read more

I rented 8 of the zorb bubble balls for soccer for a party. The price compared to many competitors is a great value. The pick up is well organized and managed. When we started to fill up the balls, 2 of them had big holes in them and one had a small hole. The patches they sent us with wouldn't fit in the spots where the holes were at so I called plan-it rentals and Mindy drove out to us right away to swap out the two with holes for two without and then gave us two more just in case. This customer service really saved the day. My last complaint is that almost all of the balls were too opaque to see the soccer ball. It was nearly impossible to see anything out of the ball. You couldn't find the ball unless it hit you, and you didn't see other people until it was too late. We had to abandon the plans for soccer and played other games with them instead. read more

I rented a bounce house and it was easy and perfect for my kids party. A few complaints are the bag the bounce house came in didn't zip up or buckle together, the storage box that the fan and tarp came in didn't shut, and lastly the spikes to drive in the ground were bent.
