He took the time to sit with me, listen to me, and got to know me. He is very thorough with all his exams, even goes that extra mile "just in case." Most doctors don't take the time to listen. They are already thinking about the next patient. Not Dr. Mintz. You are his main priority when he is in the room. The office personnel are so helpful and caring, as well. If there is a problem with insurance or paperwork, they will take the time to walk you through on what to do. The nursing staff is well trained and there is never a problem with them taking blood or doing the pre-testing. I recommend this office to anyone that is looking for an internist. When I first started seeing her, my average blood was in the the range of 200-300's. I felt I had to live with it the best I could. Dr. Hassan set goals for each visit and tweaked medication to serve those goals. My numbers are amazing on a regular basis. She and entire team of Flavia and Sukhjit have been advocates for me with my insurance and getting what was prescribed not what they deemed necessary and cost effective. I spoke to Suzanne his nurse, who is always professional and friendly. She guided me through the virtual office instructions and I was able to see my doctor the next morning. Suzanne is a tremendous asset to this office. She is a welcoming and friendly voice to all their patients. The office is located in Syosset NY.
