This hospital and staff were wonderful to me. Last week I had my first surgery in a very long time here at this hospital. I was very afraid and anxious. And I'm very afraid to trust people since so many of them suck. But the nurses, Draitin the anesthesiologist and Dr/surgeon Al Saleh couldn't have been nicer to me. I was very well taken care of. I'm so fortunate to have gotten Dr Al Saleh. He performed significant pelvic surgery on me and even fixed things he saw at the last minute. I'm so fortunate and grateful. read more

In-patient care is like being trapped in a horror movie. I encountered very patronizing physicians who dismissed my pain. The good hospital food and nice food service staff got me through the trauma. Medically, I've had better experiences at inner city VA hospitals and in rudimentary clinics in developing countries. OR and radiology lack bedside manner. Maternity has great nurses, one star, but I recommend having a baby in Lubbock where there is better pain management and doctors are competent at handling unexpected complications. You can find better physical therapists in town and specialists out of town. ER experience varies by stage in the ER. ER has below average intake staff and average wait times. The second star in this review is for the excellent and kind ER medical techs, nurses, PAs, doctors, security, and cleaning employees. read more

How tf do you run out of covid tests, the staff was very rude and seem like they hate their job and the lady at the front desk was very disrespectful to my face. Worst hospital ever! read more

We were on our way home from vacation and stopped at a DQ in Pueblo, Colorado. By the time we got close to Clovis my daughter was throwing up frequently. We checked into a hotel and asked if they could tell us where to get medical attention for her. They referred us to this hospital. We went directly to the emergency room. They got her in to see a doctor extremely fast. The staff, the nurses, and the ER doctor were very caring, and treated her quickly. They diagnosed food poisoning and admitted her for treatment. We were able to leave the hospital the next day. When we got home to Texas, we were surprised to get a call from them checking on her. That really is GREAT customer service. Thanks to all involved in treating her and taming such good care of her. read more

i sat in the emergency room unable to walk on my right leg due to a torn muscle for 7 hours... when i got to the back in the room... i sat for another 2 hours..... when the doctor finally came in he looked at my knee, bent it a little pushed a little he said you probably need an MRI. but they couldnt give me one because they were only open certain days and hours. Sent me home with ibuprofen and crutches. i could have diagnosed myself with that and saved the 9 hours and just went to walgreens.when i went back a week later for my MRI they were alittle bit nicer in xrays... the women taking my information kept saying that i couldnt be seen if the base didnt send over a document expecting me to be able to magically telepathically get ahold of the doctor who filed out my paperwork. they straightened it out between themselves and got me in. read more

Complete misdiagnoses by a doctor that had such a thick accent it was hard to understand her. We ended up spending the night at Texas Tech Children's hospital, where the doctor's were, "not confident" in the ultrasound taken in Clovis. Ended up with a second ultrasound, an all clear, and doctors who were confused by the original diagnoses. Don't waste your time, might as well head straight to Lubbock for incredible doctors and care. read more

So on March 3rd 2012 I called the emergency room becuz i am having a bad reaction to my implanon rod. Implanon is a form of birth control that is stationed in your upper arm. So I was itching all over my body (and still am at this very moment). I would wake up with hives and rashes all over my body and couldn;t take it anymore. So i called the Emergency room and a women named CODY answered. I asked her and told her my situation and she transfered me to a nurse and the nurse said yes we can take that out for you. All we have to do is consult a OBGYN and no problem. I said are you sure becuz i have a 16 month old and i dont want to wait forever if nothing will get done, they said i understand no problem we will handle it. So i arrive there it takes about 5 hours just to be seen. I tell the nurse i think her name was KIM my situation and she saids we cant do that for you. I say what are you talking about, I called before i came and i waited 5 hours with my one year old son how are you going to tell me you cant take my birth control out. She said we dont do that here and i can wait till monday. She said it wasn't an emergency and I told her yes it is. I am having a bad allergic reaction to it and my body is rejecting the implanon. She said I dont care Im not going to do anything for you and you can leave now. I was in tears because I was so upset and i said why are you not going to help me im in agony right now as i was crying to her begging and pleading to take it out and she said the secretary gave me wrong information and i said no i spoke to a nurse and she said i dont care im not going to take it out. I was in tears may i add becuz of the long wait and the false information. SHe could have taken it out but that would of required a little effort and work and she didn't give two shits. I will never go there again and if i have to im taking my husband next time. im so angry so im sitting here writting this while im itching all over in agony and with rashes all over my body waiting till tomorrow to hopefully get an appointment to take this thing out!!!! read more

Never again will I ever go to this hospital again. I went at 5pm and it was the worse experience I have ever had. I went in with severe stomach pain and a headache and the throw me on heart monitors someone changed my chart to chest pains WTH!!! I they got busy which is normal on the weekend but they left me and took forever to come back. I was never given any blood tests but the doctor came in and said my tests were fine LMAO!! I should have sucked it up and gone to work. Anyways I told her my head was hurting and she said I will get you medicine and send you home. An hour later I was still sitting there in pain. I finally got so mad mad I started disconnecting all the wires and told them to take my IV out I was going home. One nurse said I will have to check WTH !!. My son told the Dr who never once got up and came to my room that I wanted to leave she then told the nurse to get me morphine for my head wow really an hour and a half later. I said no I just want to go. I was in so much pain I think I could have killed someone right then. I started taking the IV out when another nurse came in and said let me ask the other nurse which said if I wanted to leave t=I could. So anyway she was taking to long guess she thought I would change my mind, HELL NO I just wanted out so I just got it out myself. read more
