I've gone to over twenty chiropractors in 30+ years and Dr. Smith is a not a good one to go to. I walk in, give my name then she gives me the wrong paperwork and then says she doesn't know where my paperwork is, and that I'll have to wait until the other lady comes back. Eventually I get it and fill it out (a lot of unnecessary and redundant questions) then I am verbally asked the same questions by receptionist and doctor. The doctor did not let me finish answering before interupting. Everyone here talks AT you, not TO you. Doctor takes xrays then shows me. I ask for a copy and he tells me to take pictures of his screen. Very unprofssional. Lady hooks up a TENS unit incorrectly and puts a hot pack on my back. My back muscles are swollen and need ICE, not heat... No massage to loosen up tightness. The TENS unit is a lazy mans massage. Doctor goes through the motions of an adjustment, but rushes through it, then walks away. I guess we're done. Go up to the front and they want me to make an appt for the next day...I should not have to come back the next day if I was adjusted properly, so I refuse. This guy seems either complacent or just doesn't want to be there. Days later, my back is still out of alignment and aching. No surprise, he did not adjust me correctly, just rushed through it. Seems like a lot of dog and pony show to justify the $100 they charged me. And they won't bill the insurance company for this. Waste of money. Currently looking for someone who can actually help me.

I am happy I chose the kind people at Hazen Chiropractic to help with chronic pain from old…read moremilitary injuries. Home remedies and prescription pain meds only hid the pain. The people at Hazen Chiropractic practice empathy with regard to your pain and are very family friendly, even helping watch my toddler when I go. My insurance doesn't cover chiropractic care but it is still affordable; $100 the first visit and $45 per visit afterward. For my back issues (lower back/hips/neck/shoulder) I get attached to a tens machine and heat pad for a couple of minutes then I get adjusted. I am only just beginning a regimen (I've gone 3 times). I still have stiffness and pain but it used to be worse. I sense that my posture is better and my problem areas are more loose, meaning some range of motion has returned. Before, I was unable to turn my neck completely and was unable to get up from lying on my back. I look forward to continuing treatment.

Then, I was the very first person in the door and they told me that they only see one new patient a day, at 1:30 but that I still couldn't be seen. By far the worst chiropractic center I have ever seen with many flaws and gaps in their scheduling and policies. Was recommended to me by my veterinarian but I would recommend anyone that actually wants to be seen to go anywhere but here. If you don't mind wasting your time every day when you're in agony just to be told, 'sorry not today', then this place would be for you. Compete waste of time. And this is after the woman that opened the front door told me she was going to be getting the new patient paperwork packet for me. So liars to boot.
