We had the pleasure of working with Sarah and she was beyond what we could have expected. She shows a true passion for the customer service she provides. Whether it be quickly replying to our countless questions or going into in depth detail about all of the food options we were selecting. She was a ginormous part of why we ended up choosing this caterer. Another awesome thing about this company is that they are reasonably priced, and are willing to work with you on the price. For our budget, we were picking options on the cheaper end and they weren't pushy about the more expensive options at all. If anything, they were looking for ways to help us do things a little cheaper which we really appreciated. As for the food, we heard only awesome reviews from our guests! The late night grilled cheese bar was the best decision we could have made, extremely affordable and absolutely delicious! All in all, would highly recommend there services for any event!

I would recommend Grate Catering to ALL brides! Thank you so much for making my wedding day amazing Grate Catering Team! I did not ask for fries I called them and let them know and drove up to the drive up window to get my money back she gave me a dollar, then I ask is fries only a dollar? I'm writing this as the sister of the bride because I witnessed firsthand how this caterer nearly…read moreruined what was supposed to be one of the happiest days of my sister's life. We were literally in the middle of getting ready for her wedding rehearsal when my sister got a call from her venue, The Magnolia Room. The venue was calling to say that there were no bartenders, no staff, and possibly not even any catering because the vendors told them they weren't coming -- they hadn't been paid. You can imagine the shock, panic, and heartbreak my sister felt getting this news the day before her wedding, while she's trying to enjoy what should have been a joyful moment with her family and friends. She checked her email and found a message from the caterer where he casually said that he would "no longer be able to take care of the wedding tomorrow due to health issues." That was it. No phone call, no warning -- just an email less than 24 hours before the wedding. He even sent her a list of the vendors he had never paid, despite the fact that my sister had paid him months ago, in full. Because of his complete failure and dishonesty, my sister had to come out of pocket again -- at the last minute -- to pay for services she had already paid him for. I watched her, exhausted, in tears, calling around to salvage her own wedding because of this man's utter lack of responsibility. My sister still has not received her money despite his promise of refunding her within 14 days after the wedding. I wouldn't wish this experience on anyone. It was heartbreaking to watch my sister go through this -- the stress, the expense, the betrayal -- all because someone took her money, made empty promises, and walked away. Less than 24 hours before my wedding, Alexander Cruz canceled on us after having been paid months and even years in advance through multiple payments. He claimed it was due to "health issues," but that doesn't excuse the fact that he never paid any of the subcontractors -- no rental company, no staffing company, no bartenders. They all confirmed to us that he never paid them, even though we had already paid him in full. He left us scrambling at the last minute, nearly ruining our wedding. His lack of professionalism and accountability is shocking. One week after our wedding, he still has not refunded us a single cent. To make matters worse, his supposed coordinator, Gina Ricca, completely ghosted us. When things fell apart, she simply disappeared without offering any help, apology, or explanation. At this point, it's clear this is not just poor business practice -- it's dishonest and borderline fraudulent behavior. He took our money, failed to deliver the service, failed to pay his subcontractors, and is now avoiding responsibility. He is a scammer, and I would strongly warn anyone against trusting him with your money or your event.
