Serious safety concerns ignored repeatedly. The new state of the art building is nice for the workers, but sadly this agency has lost it's soul. read more

Answered all questions when I called (and called back and back and back again!). They even called a couple of days before to confirm the reservation. Not only did they provide an affordable room, they treated one adult per room and children under 12 to the buffet breakfast and also gave us, free of charge, one meal (which we had as lunch) and snacks and drinks. To top it off, they allowed us to borrow a microwave and use their freezer! It truly was a saving grace and we wish they were in all states we visit for medical appointments as they made us feel cared for, like we had friends we could ask for help. Cannot thank them or recommend them enough.

Frustrated by their discriminatory hiring and firing practices. Don't feel like I can receive ethical service if the people employed there aren't treated respectfully. read more

Social working company goes against social issues... crazy. This place shoes blatant racism and homophobia which goes against their mission.

I was was a client there a few months ago and have nothing but good things to say about this place. My counselor was terrific, and I learned a lot in the groups. Still sober, which my family is very happy about. Interesting what this lady said about Graypel. I actually, met with him when I was there and he quickly figured out that my big thing was a depression that was never addressed adequately and that I was trying to medicate in addition to pills that by previous psychiatrist prescribed. I still see a NP in his outpatient office and continue treatment Dr. Graypel started while I was at HH and it's still working for me. What I also like about HH, that this place is a lot of options, convenient for those who can only come for outpatient programs. And yes - food is terrific there, and this is the only place I know of that allows you to have your phone... Highly recommend Harris House!
