I was growing up in cote saint Luc and what I got to say is that Cavendish mall was my favorite…read moremall ever. But today, a lot of stores closed down due to less revenue. Today, the mall is being revamped like for example opening a new Frozen yogurt shop; Yeh! Also, new mini shops. They have renovated a bit of the mall. I really go to the mall to chill out but the mall has some nice stores and a theatre (Cinaplex). At the mall, the main stores you whould be wanting to go visit is IGA, Pharmaprix, Cinaplex. To conclude, the Mall is a fun place to hand out and to go to buy groceries and maybe some of those pills you needed. The thing what sucks is that Bureau En Gros closed down making the mall empty. Rumor has it, some one told me in the mall they are opening a Bowling Alley instead!

In fact, I went to this Passport Canada location during my last passport renewal. There is a Dollarama and a Pharmacie Jean Coutu at this parking mall. There is also a large Asian grocery store (Marche Hawai) located in this parking mall. Not much to say about this place beyond that it is like most parking malls that I've visited and generally I'm not a fan of parking malls (more of a fan of shopping centers).

They have a bar and a few little restos nothing fancy but if you're bored and want something to eat you're in luck. There's a little area to sit in eat not big but either is the mall. The sandwich shop is pretty good from what I remembered. A little revamp for the floors and the place would look brand new.

There is a candy store next to it that sells a bunch of imported British candies and other goodies. There's a Viennese bakery with cakes and breads and imported European candies and a lunch counter that seems to be quite popular (oddly, one of the things it had was Jamaican patties). Wendy's dance shop has all your needs for ballerinas-in-training. Ted's Hobby Shop is a classic for crafty folk. There's also a collector's shop that I used to buy interesting coins from and has Beanie Babies for sale (remember those?). There's a Christian bookstore if you need some Bibles or inspirational goods. There's also a big modern Metro and Uniprix and a bar for the rest of your needs. Just don't expect much from the 'food court' - basically the Viennese bakery and only one other fast food place. Don't discount this mall... you just might find a hidden gem.

The mall itself has amazing stores and yummy restaurants (Valentine poutine- YUM), is very clean and is the first mall I've been to that has a breastfeeding room! It is just a small stall with a chair in it, with an adjoining room for kids to sit and play. It was nice to see a room for women like myself who have babies they need to take care of without having to be on display to the whole mall (although I bf in public anyway too). I will say though, for any parent with kids who want to try the Virtual Reality, be aware of who is working one of the stations. While we were there, there were two tall men who were very courteous. There was another shorter man working the other station. I am not sure if he is a permanent or seasonal employee, but his actions made us pull our son out of the line, complain and ask for our money back. Our Son is 8. In the 3 minutes he was in line, this man reprimanded him for not looking him in the eyes, said "we just passed Remembrance Day but you want to play a shooting game? Why don't you sign up for the army or military instead" (I didn't want him playing that one but don't OFFER a shooting game then), and when he asked what smash meant, he said "it's what your mommy and daddy used to do". That is when we left. It was COMPLETELY inappropriate. So, parents, just be careful. I'm glad our Son isn't old enough to understand what the man meant. Other than that one experience, we've had amazing times at this mall and we enjoy going.

It import European clothes mostly from France and Italy, it has unique designs that you can't find anywhere else. The selection of clothes for women has much bigger but it has some stuff for men too. What I like about this place is that you know that you won't end up at a party or an event with someone else wearing the same thing. Price are above average as you are getting about average quality and design. This a small family boutique to reimbursement just exchange within 1 week. Although if you come during sales time its really worth it. One last thing to keep in mind, the clothes are mean for slim people. The don't have bigger than Large and usually Large is like our Medium.
