A busy FedEx but the employees seem nice…read more My computer broke so Yelp had to ship me a new one. I would have taken it to the Apple Store, but it turns out you need to log in to your apple account to set up an appointment at the genius bar. Guess which genius forgot her apple password. When you request a new one it takes 24 hours for them to let you reset it. Why? I have no idea. Therefore, it was deemed faster for Yelp to just ship me a new computer and for me to ship the broken one back to them. (If I were rating Yelp IT they would get a solid five stars). It's easy enough to receive a package from FedEx, but shipping one is a little more difficult. Turns out, there aren't that many FedExes near me. Luckily, I was eating lunch with a friend in DTSP so I figured I'd see if there was a FedEx close by. I found this one. When I found a parking space a couple streets down, the meter still had 16 minutes on it. Surely it couldn't take me more than 16 minutes to walk to FedEx and drop off a package? I'm lucky I didn't get a ticket because it took 18 minutes. There were three people in line in front of me. Each person seemed to have a million questions or needed help. One employee was super friendly and kept telling the rest of the line that he'd be with us shortly. The other wasn't mean, per se, but she seemed pretty aggravated by the fact that there was a bomb in a FedEx facility in Austin and now they had to scan IDs before shipping certain packages. She heaved a huge sigh as she told people this. Hey, I'm all for safety so it didn't bother me other than the fact that one guy seemed to have fifty cards and none of them were his ID. It turns out he left his ID in the photocopier (no idea why he was photocopying his ID). Since this is right in the middle of DTSP you'll end up with all walks of life here. When I finally got to the front of the line I was able to just hand over my package and I jogged back to my car. Make sure you have enough time if you are going here, but overall I had a pleasant experience.

His coworker found a smaller box shipped it with no charge while the original clerk went in the back and apparently had a fit? Four stars to the nice young woman . -4 stars to the weird guy
