The rice however; they claim it's coconut rice but it is Not. it's just plain white rice. They could make the rice a little more firmer but it was still alright. The jerk chicken had just the right amount of spices but could've used a little more salt/seasonings. The cabbage however was delicious. And honestly you can't mess up plantains so those were good. They packed our delivery nicely, food did not spill, and they gave us plenty of utensils. Processing and delivery (from a delivery app) were really fast it got here in less than 20 mins. it wasn't really good and definitely not bad. if you're cutting back on sodium & seasonings you'll like it a lot. i loved how tender the oxtails were, they just need to thicken the stew for it a little bit. For the price of the oxtail meal i expected more spizazzz in the sauce. the portion was good, but i expected more out of the soup base. and same goes for the jerk chicken. the soup base should be thickened a little. anyways; they just opened and there's still room for improvement. i'll try them again in a few months and hopefully i can update my review for the better.

Had to leave a review because this place deserves more attention. The food was genuinely delicious…read moreand clearly made with quality ingredients, the burrito was flavorful and satisfying, and the concha was soft, fresh, and tasted like it came straight from a panadería in Mexico. What really makes this spot special is the market selection. They carry Mexican snacks and ingredients that are honestly hard to find outside of Mexico, which adds to the authenticity and makes the experience feel real. If you're looking for authentic Mexican flavor and a place that puts care into both food and products, definitely give this spot a try. You can taste the difference.

Mary gave me her card and said to call anytime and she can prepare something special for catering. Mary and her husband also own another store in Manassas. This store has tables for about 12 or more, slot machines, and a variety of snack foods and drinks popular with folks from south of the border. You can tell they take their time making the food. The first time I went I ordered 3 chicken tamales, a chicken quesadilla and a large horchata. I recently went back and ordered 2 chicken tamales, 1 corn tamale, carne asada and pollo loco, which is chicken with shrimp. Both plates came with rice, a side of beans we, we chose refried beans and a side salad and of course we couldn't forget our horchatas! Let's just say they know me by name soon because I definitely plan on coming back!

I purchase the No Mercy! and use it to accent items as well as mixing it with Greek yogurt and then using it as a dip with veggies. I have also my No Mercy! / Greek yogurt combination on burgers or other sandwiches as a nice accent (especially if you are not a mayo or mustard fan...). The thing I like about their sauce is it is not just hot (although believe me, it has a serious kick) it also has flavor. I have also tried their fried plantain, quinoa salad, and ghanaian. All have been tasty. I hope to acquire (& try) some of their spicy coconut pumpkin soup. The folks who have been at the booth the times I have visited have all been nice and helpful. The sauce is thick (think spreadable) and inexpensive. The bottles are $7 and last me a season. I have used these as fun gifts for folks who like hot things, granted I know someone who puts hot sauce in his coffee, but other folks have appreciated it as well. In summary, if you are looking for some hot sauce (or know someone who might like it) I recommend giving No Mercy! a try. (Both types are usually available to sample when they have a booth at the CFC Farmers Market.)
