Not sure where to begin. Trying to save time I decided to pull in since it wasn't crowded. Gave them about $40 for the "works" with tip included. Proceeded to watch the receiver gun my moderate sports car about 4 feet - I guess for the rush of it - but what if he were to be just half an inch off of the track for my low profile vehicle? Nobody was guiding him from outside... The rest I'll let the pictures do the rest of the review for me. All of the junk caught on the grill is still very much there, as are the remnants of the bird droppings. And nobody wiped the inside of the car. If you want to spend good money for a poor job then yes. It's for you. Otherwise go somewhere else. I will say they offered a rewash which a plus for customer service. Outside wash was fine, inside was terrible. I don't think they even tried. read more

I have been driving since 1973 and have frequented many car washes over the years. This was the absolute worst car wash that I've ever experienced. No one rides in the car except me, so the back seat is never used, the same for the passenger seat other than putting my purse there. I must admit that the driver side that I use was in need of care; this is why I paid for full service to get the inside done. When my car was done, it was dripping wet; needless to say this resulted in streaking once the outside dried; but worst yet, the console, cupholder, and area inside the door was never touched. The steering wheel was never wiped and neither was the area with the odometer. Also, the car was minimally vacuumed and when the rubber mats were put back in place, they were dripping wet. When I went inside to complain, neither the owner or manager was not available so the young cashier referred me to what I assume was a head car washer. Surprisingl, he was very snarky but did offer to redo the car. I explained to him that I paid $35+ to get the top service and could only imagine what the car would have looked like had I gotten anything less. Since he was not customer friendly, I just decided to end the conversation and let the pictures that I took speak for me. Please know that this car wash is surviving off the reputation that it once had and it is by far NOT what it once was. I will NEVER return and will use word of mouth and social media review sites to encourage others to find another place. Lastly, they have the audacity to have a tip jar. What a joke !!! What for ??? Absolute rip off for pricing. I waited 30 minutes today to get turned away because of my roof racks. The entire team was rude as I have been through this car wash with roof racks on before. Sadly the bad reviews are true... I never go on here to bash anyone. I had my car puked in the other night and just wanted a full cleaning. My car was left looking like it had before the car wash. I paid for the highest quality wash inside and out... it looked like they did absolutely nothing to the inside so much so that I asked if they could do more and they looked at me like I was crazy. Still had puke, still had mud, still had dirt all over the inside of the car. Windows were smudged with dirt, sprayed but not wiped. It was the worst car wash I've ever paid for. Don't use this place for an inside cleaning. It's a big waste ! I'm very unhappy and even spoke up and they didn't help. read more

Paid for the "Works" $40. Checked hatchback area at home. No vacuuming done. Went back spoke to "manager". Evidently PJs doesn't even attempt to clean hatchback floors, what he called the "trunk". It is a scam. He said their vacuums can't handle cleaning hatchbacks. Well don't you think it's time to get some effective vacuums? We are supposed to read the fine print on wall posters that warn us about the vacuums. They are supposed to clean our cars. It's a contract that they don't honor. Pictures on request. read more

This car wash reminds me why you should stay away from these types of places. The wash quality is terrible and the price is very expensive. I paid for the "works" a $40 value and my car looks terrible inside and out. If you need to get the salt off your car you will get a better result hosing it down yourself at home than buying their most inexpensive wash. Rip off! read more

Was there today spent 40.00 dollars and the car was still dirty found water spots and spoke with manager he was not willing to work out anything other than they don't remove water spots can you imagine a car wash not being able to clean instead he told me that I would need to spend 300.00 dollars to get my car detailed he was not helpful and did not budge on giving my money back, now mind you there are all kinds of signs about ala cart this alacart that & there is not one sign that says (we do not remove water spots) so I asked if we can run the car through again as he was wiping old bird poop from my windows and to my surprise the water spots were removed significantly hmm I don't like shisters will never go back again not worth the money and service was lousy read more

Always crowded...and not sure I understand why. The wait is usually 15-20 minutes before you get to the front of the line, and another 15 minutes for the actual wash and wipe down. It's an average car wash with non-English speaking guys who wipe down the car after it comes out of the car wash. They do an average job, but sometimes you have to remind them to vacuum, spray the interior, wipe down the running boards, and remove the dead bugs from the windshield. All this, for an up-charge. Seems to me, PJ's real business is selling those unlimited washes "VIP memberships" with the hope that you actually won't show up much. read more

Using my free car wash from the Volvo dealer down the road, I was pleased with my interior and exterior wash. Unfortunately, by the time I arrived home my car was covered with pollen. Good wash and they did a decent job of cleaning the interior - especially the windshield. I will return. read more

Agree with all the other reviews - this place has really gone downhill since we were last here 5 years ago. What happened? And its gotten so expensive. Yes, I get it, everything is expensive anymore but seriously, if the quality didn't decline so much I wouldn't mind paying. Paid $20 to have my car washed only to see the subpar job they did on the interior. They didn't put the floor mats back in place. The cloth they used to clean my radio head-unit left small scratches on the screen. I store my windshield screen under the seat which they took out, unfolded, and left it open on the back seat. Their service was never great, but as a local business I was happy to support them. Unfortunately with my latest experience it will be my last. read more

They close whenever they feel like it. As a member of the unlimited club for years I pull up yesterday at 5:30 sun is out it is a beautiful day and the place is closed and I took a picture of the sign which says summer hours open until 6. I drove 40 minutes round trip and paid tolls. You would think in this day and age they would at least alert their members that they are closing. If they are open until 6 then employees need to stay there and get paid until 6pm in case the weather changes and they need to reopen or their customers and to make money. This is not the first time this has happened but I guarantee you it will be the last because I am not renewing, nothing worse than bad service. Also every time I pay to get the inside cleaned I have to go in the car and check the cup holders because they do not clean them then I have to get out of the car and get the worker again to complete the job he should have done in the first place all this when they raised the price and lowered the service. The only thing you can count on with this business is that you cannot count on them! I will find a car wash that actually wants to be open so they could make money what an amazing business idea. read more

Only go here if you feel like throwing money away and are looking forward to leaving angry. My husband and I have had a debate for a few weeks now if this car wash was any good I didn't know why he didn't care for it until today. I asked for the 1 ($24.99, not sure of change), at register $28.99 (again not sure of change) I asked how it went from 24 to 28 in seconds? SUV charge of $3 dollars. WTH!!!! I explained my SUV is the size of a small car hatchback it's not a Tahoe. The reply. "well that's good because the Tahoe is for $4 extra dollars. So I pay and wait for my car. Well what do you know, my husband was right on this one. Not only did I get overcharged, there were large dirt spots everywhere!!!! I get that the brushes don't reach certain areas, but that's where Those areas could be easily wiped with towel when drying the car... Barely vacuumed the inside. interior vinyl and leather was sloppy and many missed areas. The outside still had bird droppings that the wash never removed. Paid $44. Never again. Let me start by saying I used to come here all the time when I had an SUV as it was easier then doing it myself. This place used to be great but I guess that isn't the case any longer. I took my car there yesterday as I was tight on time and couldn't do it myself. I will not be returning. I had to come home and re-clean all my wheels,re-vaccum and wipe down the whole inside and windows. There was red lint all over the windows and interior from the towels they use. Consider this regular wash a rinse. Whatever the brushes do not remove, I have to specifically point to and ask for further attention. Around the entire car. Nothing extraordinary. Soon they lose interest and suggest a detailing. Extra money for mats, extra for an SUV. I feel better when I remind myself it's just a rinse. For $30. read more

I have to Reclean every time I go there. The only reason I go is because my dealer gives me free coupons. It's not a matter of getting all the pet hair or expecting the result to be equivalent to a $200 detail. I expect a basic wipe down and crumbs off the seats and in my console. Yep I agree with another Yelper that PJs is the best carwash around and if it were a little cheaper I'd rate it (5) stars. All things considered it is a good value, however not a great one. If you are a senior citizen go on Wednesday and save 25% - so I guess I have to rate it the (5) star on Wednesday's only, best carwash in town. read more

For $40, it's a shoddy job at best. I usually clean my own car but I'm 9 mos pregnant and I have zero energy. So I thought I'd give this place a try. Windows to the washing area are disgustingly dirty so I actually have no idea if I got what I paid for ("Works"). Vacuum job left much to be desired. Floor mats were not put back properly, and my son tripped over them getting into the car. My passenger side view mirror was clearly not dried, it was bent backwards when I pulled out of the parking lot. Needless to say it dripped soap/wax on my passenger door/window when I drove off. Windows (literally all of them) still have dirt and water stains on them, and the insides were sprayed, but not buffed out, and have streaking on them. Frankly, they were cleaner before they were "cleaned". One tire didn't get tire shine. Save your money, stay away. read more

It has been a long time since I visited PJ's. But today will be my last time. I went because they have a package where they vacuum inside and while everything down and do the windows. They were a steady pace today so there wasn't a super long wait, but my car sat in the sun to dry off rather than being wiped down. So there are spots on my car as well as some dirt left on the runners of the car. When I was told my car done, none of the back windows were sprayed and wiped down. The guy walked away while I stranded there waiting for him to come back and do my windows. It's a fair price for the job that was supposed to be done. But the back windows still have streaks. I am not satisfied since I usually tip really well for a job well done. I still tipped 30% as usual, but regretting for the quality of work done. Also on the sign in the front, it says there is a scent added, but no scent was added. read more

So got the full service for $25, attendant asked if I wanted to the hot wax...yeah sure, unbeknownst to me that's another $10!! So get to the end, they only washed windows on one side of the car. I don't feel crazy now after reading other reviews. The last couple times have been less than satisfactory. What happened to this place? New management? I had to ask if my car had actually been cleaned... that's how terrible it was. Unfortunate for those who purchased the more expensive packages because the end result appears to be the same across the board. Didn't want to cause a scene by asking for my money back.
