The staff made sure we were properly fitted with helmets and stirrups before we headed out for our ride. We always felt safe during our ride to the beach. Our guide kept checking in and providing us with antidotes of the Norman Bird Sanctuary as we rode towards the Peabody's Beach. The beach was serene with its white soft sand. Our guide was very accommodating and allowed me to trot whenever I had the opportunity. The two hours flew by! Would definitely recommend. Yeehaw!

I currently board my 30 year old gelding with her. I have him on full board, and he couldn't get better care, she treats him as if he were her own. There is a heated tack room, with cable TV and a REAL bathroom. It's hard to find barns with those around here. The barn itself offers box stalls, and is in fantastic condition. There are also a few in/out stalls available. The outside is beautifully maintained. The horses all have decent sized individual paddocks, with water spouts and protection from the elements in each one. There is an outside wash stall, a large outside arena with excellent lighting. A newly renovated and large round pen. They offer full board, semi rough, and rough board. All at extremely reasonable prices. They offer clinics, cow sorting and fun shows on property, and travel to all sorts of area shows. I can't say it enough. My horse and I absolutely love it here.

I wanted a straight-forward, well-kept, non-commercial farm, and you not only get that with Sugar Ridge, but I have also found a family with these ladies and the horses there. The grounds are gorgeous, with plenty of room to ride and options to suit each skillset. It's been amazing to learn more about these gorgeous animals, and it does a world of good just being around them. You can also tell how well-taken care of the horses are just by how affectionate they are with Carin; she does an absolutely incredible job with them and it shows. She is also an amazing instructor, and I couldn't imagine being taught by anyone else. (Nor would I want to!)
