However, our dining experience here was by no means unique; We were promptly seated and within seconds we were assaulted by the ill-behaved offspring in a group at another table. Their kids was not crying, they were just shouting. Kids of about six rode their scooters. As they zoomed by, the befuddled waitress didn't know what to do (or where to walk). After all, his parents nor the manager didn't seem fazed. When children start screaming, top-of-the-lungs screaming, our ability to have a conversation stopped, and our ability to enjoy our time together declined. So, we walked out. On our way out I mentioned to the staff why we were leaving. Which seemed like they did not care. I have been exposed to loud kids before, but nothing like this. I know we need to be tolerant of families with kids. It's tough turning ill-behaved rug-rats into adults, but what is the limit? I mean I wasn't eating at a Chuck E. Cheese's. Restaurant owners are in the business of selling food, drinks and experience. They should be able to set the tone, ambience and style of their own establishment to cater to a specific crowd.

My friend asked for something Italian and was recommended tagliata which ended up being a plate of meat (beef and no sides). We also saw the table next to us having a huge plate of saffron rice as appetizer and we got jealous. For drinks we got their large draft beer and wine. The pizza was good and only 6.50 euros! The tagliata was Ok but it would have been better if it came with a side for that price. Also presentation wasn't great. Loved the saffron rice. Good price, quality, quantity ratio overall. The only think we didn't like was the wine (though it was like 2.50 euros for 250ml so we didn't feel bad leaving it behind).

Doesn't fit my idea of dinner in Italy. - The server asked us within 2 minutes of sitting down if we were ready to order - no water, no wine, no nothing. - The menu is simple which is good, but I was having trouble finding something that that jumped out at me. So the stage is set for me to look for disappointment. I was wrong. + Wine was fantastic for €18 a bottle. I could love Italy for this alone. + Pizza was also fantastic - thin crust and whole pieces of tomato. Reminded me of childhood. Really good. -/+ Service was ok (had to ask for check 3 times) But by the time it was over any service issue wasn't noticed so much because conversation with friends is a welcome distraction and the place filled up - we were surrounded by people having a great time - which was infectious. So in the end, I'm definitely a fanboy of Mamma Farina.
