Pizza...but not only…read more This extraordinarily central restaurant has pleasant outside seating (with heat lamps in winter). You can treat it as a pizza joint, but it also has good fresh fish (Forte dei Marmi!) and pasta. We know the pizza best (our favorite fish restaurant is twenty meters away), and it is excellent--varied and reliable. Wait times are not long. The service is invariably efficient and agreeable. Good starters (salume and soup). Highly recommended for lunch or a relatively simple and not expensive dinner. Forte dei Marmi has grander places for sure--but Bocconcino ("little bite") is a very worthy entry.

It's clearly a popular establishment with the families in a Sunday after church. The waiter delivered all the food options vocally, no menus! Kind of love that, works great if you have a local with you to translate. It sounded like we ordered the whole menu. Just like in Lebanon, they bring out 10+ dishes over the course of the meal starting with classics like puff pastry, mushroom polenta tarts, gratin. We tried a rabbit appetizer which resembles a crab cake, very unique and delicious. Their cacio e Pepe gnocchi was orgasmic, one of the best things Ive ever had. As was the pork loin and I'm not much of a pork eater. I helped myself to three servings! A wholesome, and very filling affordable meal. Highly recommend but be sure to reserve for weekends!
