We were warmly greeted by the staff, who politely overlooked my upon-arrival declaration that I had a reservation in rough Italian. The food was amazing, the service was stellar and I'm so glad that we found & chose this place in our trip-planning process 2 months before we even departed for our Italian vacation! They were quite flexible with our headcount that changed on the day before our reservation and then again when we walked in. The patio is such a beautiful and tranquil place to enjoy an amazing meal. A little side note: their menu features a recipe for pappa e pomodoro, which I LOVE. But yet, they did not have it on the menu the night we were there. When I commented about it with faux disappointment to our server, he returned shortly with small cups of their delicious pappa e pomodoro for each of us, explaining that they do indeed make it but just not every day. I was so overwhelmed by his Italian hospitality and eagerness to please. This was a great and memorable dining experience! Grazie, bella Lucca!
