We arrived, waited for 35 minutes in a "sauna" (our glasses were fogging up while we stood there,…read moresweating profusely) then we were offered a table for 2, in the back corner of the restaurant. We had 3. We told host as soon as we arrived we had 3 people, then twice more as we waited. The table for 2 was exactly that: Absolutely no room for 3 people. The food may be good but we'll never find out because after wasting 35 minutes, we essentially got a shoulder shrug from the host when we didn't want to sit on each other's laps. We politely left. Nothing against a busy restaurant, but jerking us around could have been easily avoided. Food looked and smelled delicious. Two stars for that.

We went there on a Friday night and had a reservation, anticipating a full restaurant but there was…read morebarely anyone there. We were still seated at a not so nice table in the middle of the restaurant instead of at a window table. Normally not a problem, but in this case it meant I had waiters constantly bump into my chair. My husband had a salad as appetizer which was fresh and crisp, but nothing special. Our main courses where equally fresh and pretty tasty (Scaloppine al limone and Tagliata di mano), but the scaloppine in particular was a fairly small portion-just meat and a few roasted rosemary potatoes. Not quite what I expected for the price. Desserts were fantastic (Tartufo and Creme brûlée) but also a little overpriced. Our main complaint is the service though...very snobby waiters, no smiles and we felt like a burden.

One of the worst restaurant experiences I have had. Having gone to the restaurant to write a review…read moreI found the service that my party and I received quite appalling- from the moment we entered till we practically ran out of the place. Upon arrival no one was there to receive us, take our coats or seat us at our table. After waiting for a good 15 minutes we were finally directed to out table- a corner table with a fluorescent spotlight shining on my face- I felt like I needed sunglasses indoors at 8 pm. The restaurant was so full that the sounds of cluttering and noise made it almost sound like a canteen. Our waiter arrives no greeting, no face expression, he just says " what will you have?" Our wine bottle arrives and the waiter decided he will leave it uncorked- so my partner had to ask the waiter for a corkscrew to open the bottle of wine by himself and to my horror the waiter actually gave him the corkscrew! Our food arrives, the filet mignon is raw- absolutely cold inside. In the meantime having complained to the manager for our very unfriendly and dismissive waiter - the waiter himself approaches the table like a sulking child and says I will no longer be serving you. Only to our surprise he ended up serving us all night. Absolutely appalling service- does not even deserve one star. Ridiculous to call themselves a restaurant.
