It's a very small but nice pizzeria in the village of Shoengau am Koenigssee on the main street (only street). There aren't too many eateries operating in this village now, so the existence of this establishment is very important for would-be tourists visiting this area.
We stopped here to have a late lunch as the last resort since none of the two Bavarian restaurants were operating, and we didn't want to pick up cold sandwiches for takeout from a bakery. We were not disappointed.
A friendly owner-operator greeted us, took our orders, served us, and acted as a cashier. There was limited seating with perhaps only four tables altogether, and two were occupied by customers when we visited.
We enjoyed our pizza and proceeded to our B&B only about a quarter of a mile down the street. read more
