How did I end up with $50's worth of duck fat tortillas from Kansas? *search Guerrero, Maseca, and Mission tortilla brands defying demands for exit These tortillas are Sonoran-style, and Sonoran-style tortillas are typically made from flour than corn, and are paper thin and chewy. "Regular" massed produced tortillas that we're used to use baking powder for leavening. Caramelo makes their duck fat tortillas with non-GMO enriched wheat flour, duck fat from cage-free ducks, water, and sea salt. That's it! There are no preservatives and they provide best-by dates on the packaging of about 4-6 weeks. They also offer regular pork fat tortillas and a vegetarian option made from avocado oil. My 6" duck fat tortillas came 12 count to an order, and they arrived with a Nordic Ice pack in a foil-bubble pouch inside a FedEx pouch. It would be prudent to order a lot and freeze them to minimize shipping waste. They are made-to-order and ship Mondays-Thursday. I haven't come across them in Los Angeles. Not even Sonoratown LA makes them with duck fat (theirs is made with lard). Unless you make them yourself, I think Caramelo is the only place that sells Duck Fat Tortillas!

All of the employees we talked to were extraordinarily helpful and friendly. They took the time to answer all of our questions and show us what they offered. You will find a cookie cutter for any occasion!. The cutters range from minis up to quite large and are arranged alphabetically. Most are shelved individually, but they do sell sets as well. The largest selection by far is the site-made tin cutters. They also offer 3-D printed cutters, also made on site. While we were there we were able to see some cute Doll head cutters (similar to Barbie) being printed. We asked and were given a tour of the factory where the tin cookie cutters are designed and made. It is Quite an interesting process. They can custom design cookie cutters in almost any shape imaginable. While we were there they were fulfilling an order for a custom designed cookie cutter. If you are a cookie baker or crafter, this place is a must see! They are online and ship all over. They even included a sugar cookie recipe when I checked out.

I called their Customer Service (had to leave a message - WAY better than waiting on hold) and someone called me back within 10 minutes. It's sure hard to find good customer service these days, and I'd say that Off the Beaten Path Cookie Cutters (cookiecutters.com) has exceptional customer service. Thanks!
