We were grateful they didn't turn us away as we didn't have a reservation. They really were too busy to accept our business, but they seated us anyway. Our server was one of only two guys waiting tables for the entire restaurant. It took quite awhile for him to notice us, but once he did, he hustled! Everything we needed, he came through on delivering quickly. I honestly don't know how he did it, the poor guy was overworked! Our food was excellent and came out fairly quickly. The restaurant has an inviting, rustic, charm and diners seemed to stay long and linger for hours. This was one of the better restaurants we enjoyed during our two weeks in Munich and South Tyrol.

I ordered the margherita pizza and for €9 the pizza was a shareable size and tasty. I did request the garlic and chilli oil which both complemented the pizza well. I did prefer the chili oil to the garlic oil. Ambience and service were great. I went close to 6 and by the time I left it was packed. Being a tourist, I was asked about gratuity which I don't think locals pay gratuity. This was my first time being asked about it so since I liked it I did give a small gratuity.

We also had the pizza with calamari. Unfortunately, the calamari must not have been fully washed as it was crunchy with sand. The atmosphere is just ok, but what it lacks in ambiance, it makes up for in taste. We are a family of five and all of us loved what we ordered. Collectively we had the pizza Hawaii, pizza with mushrooms and ham, tomato soup, and spaghetti marinara with seafood. The pasta had two types of shrimp, fresh calamari, and muscles. The sauce was divine and the pasta, perfectly al dente. The soup was quite large for just over four euro and my daughter thought the pizza was awesome. Service was tentative, fast, and friendly. I will drive the hour and a half to dine here again, so delicious!
