After walking around Comedie and the rest of the attractions in the city (Opera, Tour de la Babote,…read moreArc, Jardin du Peyrou, a university and some churches), we decided to settle on this restaurant. I had fixated upon this restaurant earlier in the day after we had arrived, dropped our stuff at the hotel, and wanted to get something quick so we could begin sightseeing.
Keep in mind that this was dinner on New Year's Day if that had anything do with how packed this place come dinner time. Around lunch, there was hardly anyone there. Because of it's location on Comedie and the general area being a tourist hub, I should have known that it'd be crowded that night.
They give olives and bread (simliar to garlic bread) as complimentary appetizers and we just happened to wander there at a time when they had specials on their drinks. I ordered a lime mojito (6 Euro) and my dad ordered a pina colada (I think it was 6 Euro as well). My dad ordered a Chicken Tandoori Pizza (about 8.90 Euro give or take) while I ordered a Chicken Pasta dish with marinara as a base (about 10.90 Euro give or take). I basically had to do a substitution since they don't have a more pasta options. They take a little time considering the day and time we were there. The quantity was solid for the price. They have outdoor seating, a full bar, and lots of tables I didn't see from outside earlier in the day. And they have drink specials every day from 3 to 7:30 at this location (20% off regular price). With a bill around 40 Euros, I'd say it's a bit pricey for a tourist hub but the food is pretty good and the quantity is fair.
