What a great local place! I hadn't been back to Pizza Palace just years, so not since the new ownership had taken place. And not only has Andrea preserved the deliciousness of the pizza but also created great new flavors (looking at you Hot Italian). We had a party of 20 and let them know we were coming. They had tables reserved for us and the pizzas on the buffet fresh. You can also order off the menu if you prefer. Support this local establishment- love their pizza and their staff! read more

I can't say enough good things about this place! As someone with gluten sensitivity, eating out can be stressful--but not here. They offer gluten-friendly pizza and went above and beyond to make sure there was no cross-contamination. The staff took it seriously, and the owner even came out personally to talk with me. She was incredibly friendly, knowledgeable, and genuinely cared about making sure her customers get a great experience !The pizza was delicious, and the small town homey vibe made us feel right at home even if we are far from home. Highly recommend for anyone with dietary restrictions or just looking for a great grub place! We will be back ! read more

Had to stop in Burwell, NE and try the Pizza Palace... and glad I did! Gotta say their combo pizza is excellent top shelf almost deep dish but still a lightly crunchy crust and super fresh toppings. Highly recommend! read more

We ordered a couple pizzas for take out on a Sunday night. There was a slight wait, but it was worth it for the hot and fresh pizza. We ordered the meat lovers and chicken bacon pizza (I think) they were fantastic! The meat lovers was my favorite. It's like a layered pizza with a cheese topping, it's absolutely fantastic and super hearty. 1.5 pieces filled me up. I was kind of blown away. I highly recommend if you're staying in town to pick some up, or dine in. read more

Great service even better pizza- can't be beat. Stop in and try it for yourself! You'll find it located on the square open on Sundays after a long weekend at the Calamus Lake! read more

It is open on Sunday, that is a very big deal up there in small town Nebraska as most towns shut completely down on Sunday. This place makes a good pizza. It takes a while, so you have to be patient. It has been my experience that the wait is worth it. In a far away little town this place makes a big difference in my weekend when I am there. read more

Pizza like your mom used to make: This little local gem is great stop on the way to Calamus. I've heard many things about their pizza over the years and finally got to try them. The staff was friendly and the pizza came out in a timely fashion. The pizza was good, not as good as it was hyped up to be. I can categorize pizza in to a few categories: the franchise pizza, the take and bake pizza, the frozen pizza, but this one falls into the "your mom use to make pizza," which is great. I can recall countless times I want a pizza that was made with fresh ingredients, not too greasy, but piled with a thick lair of cheese (yep, just like your mom use to make). This is the place to get it. Overall, the staff, atmosphere, and yes, the pizza, will make this place, our place to stop when we are in Burwell. read more

Pizza Palace - Good to go! - Pizza Near Me - Burwell, Nebraska

Get in there! Best Thursday pizza buffet in Nebraska. Nestled in the heart of Burwell and the hearts of anyone lucky enough to stop by.

Burwell is truly one of the stranger places I've ever been in my life. This pizza however is undoubtably delicious. Very indulgent. Definitely stop in Burwell for the pizza and then get the hell out read more

This a great gem in a small town! Unique and delicious and fairly priced. We fed our family of 6 for $50 and the portions are so large we took about 1/2 of it home. Th staff was crazy friendly and informative. We will definitely be back! read more

Pizza Palace - Pizza Near Me - Burwell, Nebraska

Food is decent. Ordered many times with large orders too, but the last few times the owner gives me a price and then I get the bill and it's always $5-10 more than what was given over phone. When we discussed food, tax, and tip. Unreliable and not fair. During this corona period they have a clear sign half off for first responders but when you call them the owner yells at you and complains he's giving his good away. Shady people do not order from there. Kept giving them a try but they keep failing. Sorry lost a customer. read more

Absolutely love pizza palace best pizza around! Always great customer service and never fails to have the best flavors

Passing through Burwell from Mpls to Phoenix, we camped a night and found this place on Google (Yelp says they're closed on Monday, that's incorrect) So glad they were open. We ordered the Southwest Chicken as we are strictly BBQ Chicken pizza eaters. I put the order in as we were about 20 minutes out, and it was ready just when we arrived. The gals were very nice and the pizza was delicious. The pics looked like it was deep dish, and a small is plenty for two normal sized people It was not an overly thick bready pizza. I don't know how they make it, but we loved it. Not their fault, mine, I usually order extra BBQ sauce and forgot. We thought it could have used more, but that's just us. Sorry, no pic. We were starving after our 11 hour day and devoured it. We travel from AZ to MN every summer but have not come through Burwell before. It might stay on our navigation now just for the pizza. Good job, Burwell NE! read more

Friendly staff, great pies. This is some of the best pizza I have had. They have a large area in the back that is great for groups. The crust on our pizza was crispy and tasted great. They put the toppings under a thick layer of cheese that is golden on top and chewy throughout. Highly recommend!! read more

Love the Pizza Palace! The pizza is so good! I have never had bad food from the Pizza Palace!!

SO delicious! Not from around here, just passed through... glad we decided to stop. Ordered a small for the 2 of us and still had leftovers. Not shy on the toppings! Friendly staff. Very clean. Definitely recommend! They sell their pizzas (and some desserts) frozen as well. Order ahead if you are short on time, but it still came out in a timely fashion. No more than 10-15 min for us. read more

Pizza Palace - This was a "small" pizza... but definitely fed 2! So good. - Pizza Near Me - Burwell, Nebraska

You definitely won't leave here hungry. Stopped in and ate the lunch buffet. The staff was very friendly. The buffet was small but the salads you could tell were homemade and delicious. It was definitely Pizza you eat with a fork. I left happy and stuffed. I will definitely be back ! read more

This pizza is just okay. The dough has a strange "extra" yeast flavor and the cheese seems too thick and almost rubbery. There is not much for pizza in Burwell so it's not the worst. Service is always good. Nice family atmosphere. read more

I just previously purchased some cinnamon sticks in hopes of having a quality product. But when I open them when I arrive home, I soon realize to my disappointment that the cinnamon sticks were severely burned! This is the second time this has happened in the last month. The sticks were almost charcoal black on the bottom and were almost inedible. I truly love the pizza palace, I just wish the product was more consistent!! read more
