This place has gotten a lot of love from the community, unfortunately I can't find it in me...this…read morehas to be an honest review. The wings were very subpar, sorry. They look meaty...they look delish...but the flavors were quite lacking. One...what is up with the chives and sesame seeds. They did ask me if I wanted them on there...I said sure. But I don't see how that adds anything to the flavor profile of the wing. Is it for texture? I have noticed it's more common in Mexico..so maybe they're bringing that practice over here? But offering it on every wing? Sesame seeds and chives do not go with every single wing flavor. Moving on... The wings were a good size...and well cooked. I think these are air fried...so the fry on the wing left a little more to be desired. I honestly don't remember the flavors I chose...but probably Iwiings and Buffalo... The one thing that really threw me off...and almost made me stop eating, was their ranch in the small cups. I wish I had not stirred the ranch that much to have recorded it better..so I was given 3 cups and each cup was the same. As I was dipping my wings into the small cup, I noticed the bottom of the cup was extremely watery, while the ranch at the top was very thick. It could be simply explained...dressings settle. But it made me wonder...do they water down their dressings? Or did the ranch settle? But then why did it settle toward the top...maybe they have the cups upside down, so it settled to the top because of that? But still ...it was very unsettling to see all of sudden this watery mess push up through the ranch...I tried to record it right but I had already mixed it too much. One of the few times I can say I was almost grossed out on a food item and stopped eating. Is it worth the love? Well they also sell ribs..but if your name is based on wings, I will grade you on wings. Even with their great discounts, unfortunately will not try this place again.

The wings are good but when you order bone in and they give you boneless she won't even make it right and fix things even though paying for Bone In . My reciept what I paid for indicates , Bone In/Bonless when I get home both are boneless and she would not help she said she would charge me $7 more to give me 10 bone in. Worst customer service ! The service is a bit slow (not sure if it was due to staffing) but the smoked wings were worth the wait (5 sweet habanero and 5 ghost pepper ) with fries and a nice cold beer. The main event was blasting on the main speakers and it was a bit louder than expected as we're having difficulties just hearing each other at the table, but asking the waitress to consider just a little lower they were able to accommodate. Overall liked this place and wouldn't mind coming back.

I LOVE their honey bbq wings, and my husband can tell you, I hate wings. I don't know what it is about these guys, they just hit different and I don't mind getting a little messy for some delicious wings. They have a new beer that I have fallen in love with too called Hoop Tea, very dangerous, you can't even tell it's alcohol. We ate at the bar the other night and the waitress/bartender was incredibly friendly, quick service, and everything came out perfect. The arcade is fun and they even have a little ride on machine for the younger kids, our daughter is going to love it next time. I've been wanting to try their Philly cheesesteak but the wings get me every time, I'll try to try more on the menu in the future. But as of now I highly recommend their sauced wings, ranch, and sweet potato fries. The general managers name is Malcom, I see him every time we come in and he is very friendly! Go check them out, it's worth it!

I tried the Mexican BBQ, original buffalo, and Serrano buffalo. The original buffalo was the only thing that had ANY flavor, and it felt watered down. The wings were also wrapped in aluminum foil for my to-go order which left absolutely no crispness to the skin. This place just didn't do it for me in terms of the food, especially being on the upper price range for wings (over $1.20 per piece). The service was great and very prompt though which I would say is the only redeeming quality.

This place is a definite hole in the wall...I had to make their Yelp page lol. But I digress…read more.. If you want crunch...if you want taste and zest...if you want heat or sweetness in your wings...if you want the best quality for the best prices on wings in town...stop by! This place keeps it simple...bone-in or boneless wings. They have about 10 sauces total...no need for more honestly. They have dry and wet options... my personal faves are their Original Hot and Lemon Pepper. But the winner for me is they let you combine them...if you enjoy the heat from Original Hot and love the Zest of Lemon Pepper...why not combine both? You don't have to order half and half...they give you the order mixed. Such a simple idea but I've yet to see a local wings place do that option. Genius! The prices are just right... currently, some places charge about $14 for 10 wings...here you can order Family packs...one example is 20 wings for $18, comes with large fries and 2 soda cans. The cook on the wings are perfect...nice and crispy. I have ordered plenty of times from here and have yet to get a bad cook on them. They're nice and plump.... there's no breading on it nor are they just bone. The ONLY knock is the location. Did I mention it's a hole in the wall? They have about 4-5 tables...an oscillating fan, and a TV playing music. It's not meant to hold large groups. Get it to go...the wings are freshly made so even on a 10 min drive home the wings are still nice and hot when you bite into them. STILL 5 stars...no doubt! If you have no clue where Alton is, enter the location and find this place. The wings are a definite diamond in the rough for the local businesses.

Wing Snob - great wings, skip the sides…read more I walked in thinking this was a little mom-and-pop joint; turns out it's a nationwide chain wearing a folksy disguise. No biggie--good food trumps branding--but here's how it stacked up: * Wings: Spot-on. Juicy, well-cooked, plenty of meat. Pro tip: sample the sauces before you commit. Anything sweet tasted like it took a detour through a candy factory--too artificial for my liking. * Sides: Hard pass. The chili-cheese fries came smothered in concession-stand nacho cheese that did somersaults in my stomach (and I'm not lactose-intolerant). A sprinkle of real shredded cheese would fix half the problem. Fries themselves got greasy fast--maybe tired oil, maybe black magic, who knows. * Ranch: Heavy on the dill, light on the "wow." If dill is your love language, great; if not, prepare for disappointment. * Value: $39 for two meals (10-pc and 6-pc). Pricey for what you get once you subtract the sides you won't finish. * Service: A-plus. Friendly staff, quick turnaround, zero attitude--honestly the high point after the wings. The ambiance was alright. Chairs were hard metal, they had golf playing on the tv (who the hell watches golf?) and only one trash can where you can throw away your food--located next to a table where people are eating. Bottom line: Come for the wings, wave politely at everything else, and save your stomach (and wallet) the trouble.
