My husband and I took our 16yr old for a meal at Pizza Hut in Boongate Peterbrough last night 11/02/20. We waiting about 5min for a table, then taken to our seats. Shortly after a young lady came to take our order, but we weren't ready. She left, then a young guy came over to take our order. I said to him we can order our starters and drinks, but not sure about main course yet. Ordered starters and drinks he went to put that through then came back, I gave him our list of mains and ordered a glass of Red wine but told they didn't have red wine at all, but they had white wine. My husband said OK a glass of white wine with main course. The guy said for me to remind him about the wine when he brings main course ( bare in mind he wrote it down with the order). We went to salad bar to get our salad and it was messy and empty pots there, had to ask for them to bring salad dressing thousand island. Then we went to fill our glasses with diet coke, but the glasses looked dirty. I had to dig for clean glazes ( I was already turned off by the disgusting salad bar then the dirty glasses). We went back to the table and sat down started trying to eat our salad, starters then came which was cheese bites, ribs, garlic bread with mozzarella. The ribs were cold, the garlic bread with mozzarella was soaked in butter we couldn't eat it disgusting. Then after awhile the mIns came, no one came toclearthe table and I had to push the dirty dishes towards back of table and they just put fresh food mixed in with dirty dishes, then started to remove the dirty dishes from salad while our mains was there, disgusting. My flatbread pizza was hardly no tune on it it had more of rocket salad, the crust was hard, my husband tried 1 slice of pizza and couldn't eat it. My daughter only ate2 slices and couldn't eat anymore. They never brought the glass of white wine. The young girl came to the table and I asked for my bill, she seen that there was most of the goid left. She asked if everything was OK. I said no it wasn't, garlic bread soggy flatbread pizza hard crust, you brought mains and didn't even remove dirty salad bowls before and you removed while our mains wS on the table, you didn't bring the white wine ordered. She wS shocked, and said what can ido to make it better, I said just bring the bill, she said she would be right back. She came back and removed the bill of starters, flatbread pizza, and drinks, I said I didn't ask you to remove it, she replied but I want yo make it right. So, she brought the bill less £30.00 and by my surprise they were charging us £4.69 for a glass of white wine that my husband never received. She removed that from the bill as well. This is the worse customer service I have ever seen, its, dirty, food is warm and they are short staffed, The whole place needs shutting down and cleaned and get staff thee that are more competent in serving customers. I don't recommend this pizza hut at all. Stay away I don't plan on returning unless they renovate and change the staff. But they definetely need a goid clean up in there. Woe is me, or was me when I tried to have a meal at this Pizza Hut branch. I arrived with my family for some pizza at 8:30pm one evening. We were made to wait even though we could see plenty of tables available. Our waiter was the only high light of the evening as he was kind and helpful. When we tried to place our orders, we were informed that quite a few ingredients were unavailable and so we would not be able to get waht we wanted. We asked to see the manager about this and she was rude and made excuses such as it was her first day back from holiday and offered that we should use mushrooms to substitute for the the ingredients they did not have. As such we left, but were offered no apology. My work place is not far from here and I was a regular at lunchtimes, but no longer. I will avoid this place where possible. read more

Pizza hut has great family atmosphere (if a little) generic. The deepa pan pizzas are very nice, but the stuffed pepper starter is aweful. Location is handy. read more

When arriving we were made to wait although we could see tables free which had just been left as they hadn't been cleaned so instead of cleaning them when taking us to the table we were made to wait 10 minutes, but we thought ok the food is normally nice so we will hold on We sat down and ordered a meat sharer platter with ribs, non cheesy garlic bread and chicken wings. After 15 minutes our food arrived and we were informed that the order had been messed up as it had cheesy garlic bread but they were just putting some fresh on for us which was ok but then we picked the ribs up and they were stone Cold and the wings wernt much better. When we mentioned this to the waitress she offered to get the whole starter re cooked for us (she was great) after about 5 mins the manager came over and offered to comp the starter. We waited a following 25 minutes for our starter for it to come out with no ribs as they couldn't get a good temp in to them due to a faulty microwave! As everything is apparently re-heated. When our pizza actually came it it was lovely The shinning stars off our experiance today was the front off house team who we felt was really let down by the back of house guys and gals our server and the manageress was awesome and the customer service and interaction was very good Opinion of the restaurant overal was ok a though the toilets were disgusting but we're full of kids so i guess not really there fault. The meal was very fragmented as we had things that had to go back. The bill was comped for the starter as an apology which we didn't even ask for so based on that i would give them another go but prob not for a while. read more

Pizza Hut is situated in a perfect location on Boongate Services, within walking distance of the Showcase Cinema. It offers pizzas, with the recent edition of pastas and salads at competitive prices. The atmosphere is normally loud and family prone, which could be good depending on what you like. Great as a party venue. read more

This fast food restaurant isnt always fast but the food is always excellent value for money. Its situated in Fengate near Frankie and Bennys, Mcdonalds, the BP station and not too far from the showcase cinema. It has car parking around the 'hut' which does flood so be warned! The two storey restaurant is very popular and its best to arrive by 5ish to avoid queuing out of the door! That said I feel that service is slow which results in this queue! At least the kids are given an activity book and crayons to keep them amused and often waste 15 minutes with continued visits to the salad bar. overall summary good pizza, salad bar sometimes dry, slow service but child friendly. The best value for money is the lunchtime eat all you can buffet in which you get to go up and serve yourself pizza pasta and salad as often as you can !! My children love the ice cream machine which if you purchase a kids meal is included. They are given a bowl and can pull the handle to dispense their own ice cream then add as many sweets and sauce as they like! read more

'Pizza Hut' has a great friendly atmosphere, with a nice group of staff who do there best to make your meal as special as possible. The food is always filling and tasty, and you get a good portion. The 'all you can eat buffet' is one of the best ideas for the restaurant. This allows customers to pay a relatively cheap set price, for an unlimited amount of pizza, something which is very popular, and there is always a good variety. The prices are fair and are reasonable in comparison to other establishments. It is always clean and tidy, and is well presented. read more

Its nicely located near the cinema and the food is good. My only issue with the place is that it needs more parking facilities. At the evening or a weekend it really can be a pain to find a parking spot right next to the restaurant. Their waiting area is small and some people usually end up waiting outside at peak times. However, its always busy, the staff are friendly and we usually don't have to wait too long. The food is good and in my opinion its worth waiting for as the experience is so nice when you do get there. read more

My family and I have always enjoyed very good service and lovely meals at this pizza hut. Yes at times it does get busy and you may have to wait for seating and I must admit even at busy times I have never seen the upstairs seating area open which is disappointing as it would solve all their problems as far as losing customers due to long wait times for a table. The staff are very helpful and have pleasant manners and I have visited other pizza huts where the service has not been so good. The toilets are basic but clean and more than adequate. read more

THe food is great but the restaurant is usually un clean and messy. The service has always been good but only good. The salad bar looks like a health hazard and tastes even wrose. But you cant beat the pizza hut pizzas they are gorgeous! read more

I had the worst restaurant experience ever here. Admittedly, the actual food wasn't the worst. My complaint regards a situation involving salad. I was with a table of 12 for a party, and we were all under the assumption that we could share the 3 salad bowls we were entitled to. The rules about not being able to share them were not made explicitly clear to us, and have always been relaxed before. However, after roughly 30 mins of tucking in, our waitress approached me stating that her and the manager have seen us break this absurd store policy, and needs to charge us extra for the salad. Normally that would be fine and understandable, but they ended up charging an extra 6 salads, which is a hell of a lot considering it's £6 a bowl! That's a total of £36 just for salad, which is enough for another 3 pizzas. If they truly believed in the reinforcement of this rule then why didn't they stop us the moment they saw us break this rule? Because the truth is, we are a bunch of teenagers with the stereotype of 'troublemaker' surrounding us. I felt we were prejudiced, because had we been a group of elderly women, then this wouldn't have happened. Instead, the restaurant saw us as targets to exploit for profitable gains. Well I hope they're happy, because I certainly will never eat at a Pizza Hut again. As mentioned before, this was single handedly the worst restaurant experience I have ever encountered, and I advise anyone considering on going to go to Pizza Express instead. read more
