Une pizza nous a été amenée par erreur (de commande), le garçon s'excuse à peine (malgré une attente importante) et propose cette pizza à la table d'à coté 2 minutes après (pour les amateurs de pizza froide). I pulled up my Yelp app to discover a hidden gem known as Pizza Julia. It was quite a journey finding this local pizza spot. You have to walk through an alley for about one block to get here. At first I was skeptical thinking that a random place like this is not legit. When we arrived, the line was out the door on a Sunday evening. There are no tables for dining in. They only offer carry out or Uber Eats. You can order your pizza then eat out front since they have a few high chairs. I already had a good feeling about this pizza joint since the locals seem to love it. The owner is super nice and shared with us that he used to have a pizza restaurant in NY. It was a breeze placing an order because the staff speaks English. The pizza takes about 15 minutes to prepare. There are several varieties of pizza toppings. We chose the pizza Cesar which has chorizo, black olives, red onions, arugula and grape tomatoes. After a moment of anticipation, our pizza was ready. It looked so fresh and delicious straight out of the oven. I was so excited to take a bite. Omg, this is the most amazing pizza ever. I'm not even a fan of pizza. They have converted my taste buds. Add the spicy sauce and you will be floored. If you're visiting Paris, Pizza Julia should be on your bookmarks. You will enjoy it as much as I did! We had to stop by here twice during our trip.

I wasn't sure what to expect foodwise here. Given that we were in Europe, would it be American- or Italian-style? Given the ambiance of the place, I was more expecting the former (which turned out to be accurate), and thus I was worried that I might be disappointed due to my admitted snobbishness regarding pizza. But I didn't have worried as our meat pizza was quite tasty with a thin crust that fortunately was neither greasy nor excessively floppy. Summary: Cosi on up.
