Their pizzas came highly recommended on Facebook, so we ordered two, plus a side salad. Perhaps my expectations had been built up too much prior to our arrival, but they didn't particularly blow me away. The salad leaves were fresh enough, though it was a very simple salad (cucumbers, some lettuce, and carrot shavings on top) that was left undressed for us to add our own balsamic vinegar and oil to. The pizzas were tasty and of a very generous size - one would be enough for two to share. My overall impression? Okay for an evening if left with no other option, but not necessarily a place I'd be aching to get back to any time soon. Might return for a pizza to take away though!

I must say I was impressed though I'm not sure if this is the norm, or if I was lucky. The food was delivered hot and the delivery guy was friendly and delivered with a smile - unlike the prepubescent spotty kids that rock up on their mopeds from other vendors. I took advantage of an offer of 'any' pizza and a side for £9.99, which I thought was a good deal. However the 'any' pizza did not include 'half and half' pizzas, which I thought was a shame; as it gives customers who are not familiar with the pizzas a chance to try two different pizzas thus increasing the chance of return custom. I think Papa John's, out of all the delivery pizza emporiums that I've tried, has the best tasting chicken sides that are on offer, that said their garlic bread is some of the worst. Unfortunately, this store has made a number of mistakes over the last several weeks when I've ordered from here and every time they fail to deal with the problems in a satisfactory manner. Forget speaking to the manager as it is everyone else's fault but his and head office are not interested either, their response it "Fill in the on line complaints form" which I'm sure auto deletes as I never received a response - either that or they have so many complaints they can't keep on top of it all. All in all it makes for a bad experience, which is a real shame as I really like their Pizza. If you can collect and oversee the cooking and packing of your food then enjoy, but if you expect good service when you are not looking - forget it.

However, the service was friendly and the food was tasty. Lots of options to appeal to a variety of tastes. The garlic bread was enormous! Calzones, pasta and chicken milanese were all enjoyed by various members of our group. We'd definitely return if we are in the area.
