The woman behind the counter waiting on customers should spend more time cleaning the restaurant instead of arguing with customers and chatting on the phone! I'm really not sure how this place stays open. The pizza is poor at best. If you like overcooked cardboard and uncooked cheese and toppings! My late wife for some reason liked their pizza for some reason and the only reason I went was to try and bring her a little joy in her last days. This has been over a year now and she passed in June of last year. I doubt if this place has changed. It makes me very sad every time I think about it.

DiAngelo's is a small town bar and pizza place. It's about the only restaurant that's not a chain…read more That automatically makes it one of the best around here. Good prices on beer and cocktails. The food is better than it looks. There aren't many good places to eat in Cadiz. It's a town with mostly chains. This looks like one of the few locally owned independent restaurants. It seems more like this is a bar. There's actually two parts. One side is the bar. The other is the dining room. In the bar are several tables if you have a group. The bar will bring you food from the other side. In the dining room is a salad bar. You actually have to go walk through the kitchen to get to it. It seems kind of weird but that's how you go. The beer and cocktails are the usual kind of stuff. I had a Jim Beam. It's about $3 for a shot. The food is not bad for somewhere like this. I had the spaghetti. It's $9 for that and the salad bar. The spaghetti probably came from a box, and it could have used more seasoning. It still wasn't bad. This is about what you expect here. It actually exceeds many expectations. Even though it's not all freshly made, it's not horrible. This is still probably the best place in town.

The Colossal Italian had very fresh and delicious sausage on it, especially the spicy sausage! The Primo Pepperoni had old world pepperoni and lots of cheese! The crust is not crust you will toss aside either! The staff was very helpful and courteous in explaining the toppings to me and accommodating not putting spicy sausage on the entire pizza because my wife can't eat spicy food. The restaurant had a cool ambience and feel to it. Overall, this is a must stop for any pizza lover and if you live distance away....its worth the drive! Don't miss this pizza gem in Amish country!
