We got the: - Fisherman Platter: Fried seafood goodness. The fry wasn't overly oily and the batter not overly thick. The seafood itself also tasted fresh enough. A bit pricey at $1i, but good enough to share. - Seafood Chowder: Chowder was really creamy, and good enough chunks of seafood. Again, a tad pricey at $7.50 bit pretty good for a cool fall day. - Banana Split Square: Whoa that was surprisingly good. Tasted like a banana cream pie, with cherries to make it like a split. Enjoyed that more than expected. - Chocolate Peanut Butter Ball: Smooth peanut butter filling that I could eat for days. If you're in the area and need a bite to eat, Chez Wes is worth a try.

I complained to the server and asked if I could get a bacon and tomato sandwich and I never seen the sandwich they just took care of everybody else and they have a drive-through there so beware the food is like awful.

We ordered the sampler plate and got to try the ribs, wings, pulled pork, poutine and onion rings. The ribs were amazing! Such a nice smoky sauce. Side poutine was amazing with great gravy and fresh squeaky cheese curds! Wings were very smoky and the pulled pork with pickles was very tasty. While there we also got to try a flight of artisan beers from the connected brewery. The assistance of the waitress to help me pick some that were to my taste was amazing. Low pressure and just a relaxing unrushed experience. Can't wait to come back and try the smokehouse poutine!

Looking at the menu it was loaded with goodies of Pizza, wings, burgers, pasta and some seafood options. Really a pretty decent menu. Don't expect gourmet food but a solid offering of food that goes well with beer. I had a hankering for a burger so I chose a portabella swiss burger and was recommended the caesar salad (I try avoid fries with all my biz travel). Burger came out a very generous portion and the caesar was quite good actually. A bit garlicky but generous with dressing and croutons. The burger was on the better side of okay. Not the best I've eaten in my life but not bad none the less. We were here for a Wednesday night and noticed wings were 1/2 price. Not gourmet food but very decent pub food to meet the needs!
