This place is delicious! Been twice so far. Small place with tasty food and good specials. $7 for a slice and a small salad. The buffalo chicken sub is to die for and so is the blue cheese dressing that goes on it. The Italian combo has high regards. Surprise top nominee and I'm sorry I didn't get a picture was the chefs salad! The meat was rolled into pinwheels and the presentation was pretty. They make their own ranch too which is yummy. Go check them out! Our server Angie is a doll and extremely friendly.

We are always going to this shopping center for take out at Chinatown, Pu Thai, the UPS Store and finally we are having dinner here. I had the egg, onion and pepper hero, which reminded me of my younger days growing up in Brooklyn. Delicious piping hot sandwich with lots of eggs, onions and peppers! Dave had the Connection Deluxe Pizza with lots of meats, veggies and cheese. He said it was delish! They have an extensive menu, including broasted chicken, pastas, shrimp, salads, pizza, sandwiches and appetizers! Bevin was our server and man's the front counter. Pleasant and family run, we recommend this neighborhood restaurant!

Nice surprise. In a strip mall so didn't expect much. Lol. Clean. Bright. Table service. Lots of variety in the menu. Not just pizza! I had a tomato basil pizza with olive oil, garlic, cheese. Delicious and light. Server attentive and friendly. I'll be back.

Holy smokes this place is good! I grew up in a Italian house hold eating Italian food, and I have eaten many times at some of the best restaurants In New York, little Italy. And let me tell you this place blows all the food Iv had in new York out the water! I'm so glad my grandmother does not use Yelp because I gotta say it blows her food out the water also, it's that good! I was shocked this little pizza joint has 5 star Italian food. You gotta try this place out....

Great place! We dropped in Post Hurricane and had great food. Great service, and was great to get out and have hot food. Highly recommend, as it's tucked away in the plaza with Publix.

The first thing they brought out was their soft breadsticks brushed either butter and oil with balsamic. Amazing, breadsticks tasted like they were fresh out of the oven, hot, buttery and soft. They were gone before I could take a picture. We ordered the garlic knots. I was expecting dough rolled up and twisted. Nope these were square biscuit looking, with just the right amount of butter, parm and seasoning. They came with homemade marinara that was tasty either way just a touch of sweet. 2 of us ordered the chicken and shrimp Alfredo with Penne and one ordered the chicken and broccoli Alfredo. The dishes checked all the boxes. The portions were large, the process right and we all had to get to go boxes. The staff brought us small containers with some extra Alfredo. You could definitely taste the pride and homemade touches in the food. I'll definitely be back.

If two of you want salad, share a large order of what they call Greek salad -- which isn't Greek! It's got sliced green olives, tomatoes, feta crumbles and strips of boiled ham on top of romaine. For the extra dollar, you're getting a little more pizzaz than the regular house salad. While not on the menu, you can ask for chicken piccata -- which isn't really piccata. Sort of a variation of marsala, it's not bad. BUT you get an overload of pasta and only two small and thin slices of chicken. The dish needs at least another slice, even if they have to charge more. House wines are reasonably priced at $28 a bottle. We stick with merlot. And what's REALLY good are their $4 cannoli's. Fatto A Mano is a neighborhood joint, popular with an older crowd. Servers are friendly and on-the-ball. While not the best restaurant in town, I'm glad it's there for a quick and casual meal.

Personally, I think they're best served by doing it the traditional way. So we ordered a pie, half extra cheese, half pepperoni. Look at my photo. Hard to distinguish which is which. Doing a taste test, the side with pepperoni was a bit spicier, had more oomph. But, with the pepperoni chopped so fine, if I didn't know, I'd equate the taste to a richer sauce. The extra cheese side didn't appear cheesier than a regular pie. (I think back to NY's Rays Pizza -- which popped up all over the place -- known for its cheesy goodness.) Everyone's gauge of good pizza is what they grew up with. I think Fat Apple's crust is fine. Has the "fold" I look for. I also do the grease test. When grease slides off the slice -- pointy side down -- that's a good thing! Yup, theirs passed the test. While I didn't order salad, I noticed the table next to mine. Their Greek salad looked delish. And when we started chatting, the couple confirmed that it was as good as it looks. All in all, 3.4 stars. And while I'm not a regular pizza-eater, I will come back!

We tried this despite mixed reviews given its proximity. Wife got the eggplant parm sub and I got a pepperoni pizza. Wife said the sub was good and commented on how good the sauce was. My pizza was meh. I saw reviews saying the toppings were "chopped up," and the little girl that took our order asked if we knew about the toppings. I said yes. But honestly, I tasted ZERO pepperoni. She asked me if I got a cheese or pepperoni pizza, so maybe it was an honest mistake. When my order was taken the little girl asked the kitchen hiw long for the order. "25 minutes or so." So I get there 25 minutes later. Only one two-top in the place, but I have to wait another minutes or so. No big deal generally, but the gentleman in the kitchen moved as fast as my dead father. So I get back to my camper less than 10 minutes later and the pizza is literally ice cold. Oh well, win some and lose some. But don't spend your $30 for a pizza and sub here. PS, the Zeppelis were good. So there's that I guess.

The interior is not fancy, but it is thoughtfully laid out and has a classic barbecue feel. Our waitress was quick to bring drinks and take our order, which made the visit start smoothly. The menu offers a wide variety of barbecue meats, along with fish and simpler options like hamburgers and hot dogs. Overall, there is something to suit a broad range of tastes. What We Ordered: * 3 Baby Back Rib Dinners with Baked Potato, Corn, Coleslaw & Garlic Bread * Fish & Shrimp Combo with Baked Potato, Corn & Applesauce * Fish & Shrimp Combo with Sweet Potato, Corn, Coleslaw & Garlic Bead Food Quality: The baby back ribs were decent, but they seemed a little dry. Adding barbecue sauce helped quite a bit and improved the flavor. I was very disappointed with the fried shrimp included in the fish combo dinner. After removing the breading, I found that there was barely any shrimp inside. The baked potato was average in size and came with only a packet of sour cream and a few butter packets, so it felt fairly basic. The corn on the cob was half a portion but was okay. The coleslaw had a slight bite to it, but it was also only average. Overall, nothing really stood out or delivered a strong flavor. I must give the Smoke'n Pit Bar-B-Que a 3 out of 5 stars. Don't let the outside fool you. The original establishment was more for take-out and catering but now fixed up with six tables. It is not a fancy place but comfortable and cozy. What is lacking in space made up in taste. I sampled their Philly Cheese steak with coleslaw with Snapple Peach Iced Tea. The Cheese steak was cooked to perfection and coleslaw with right balance between creamy, tangy, and sweet. I took the chocolate chip cookie home. Love that cookie! Next table patron recommended me to try the Rueben, Italian Pasta salad and soup next time! The price is reasonable. Mom and her staff are friendly with that neighborhood feel!
