The appointments tend to be 75-90 minutes long, with the first and final appointments running on the longer side. The equipment is sanitized between uses and neatly returned to their places when not being used. Generally, patients are greeted, welcomed to the PT area, assigned a table to set their belongings on, warm up exercises, manual body manipulation, supervised exercises, and finished with ice/heat therapy on the affected area for 15 minutes. Monday and Wednesday mornings are the least hectic for appointments. Shout out to Rob, Jared, and Cass - they helped me to regain my mobility. Covid-19 precautions include asking unvaccinated people to wear masks, temperature checks upon check in, and screening questions related to possible symptoms. I wore a mask at all times despite being vaccinated as I am immunocompromised. Some staff members wear masks, ones who do not typically wear them are willing to wear one for patient safety/peace of mind. I would love for staff to receive training for best practices for supporting gender diverse clients, including inclusive intake forms, use of patient's chosen name and correct pronouns.
