He started by doing an assessment of the work and asking me what I wanted to have completed and made appropriate suggestions for what steps should be involved. He was very helpful in pointing out some of the damage we were unaware of and walked us through how he intended to complete our project before he started. We knew exactly what was going to be done as he moved forward and there were no surprises. He and and his crew were personable, talented,, very capable and very patient with us as we asked a lot of questions along the way. They were definitely project-oriented and never allowed any "bumps" along the way to slow them down. I was very impressed with the manner in which Andy was able to copy the detail in cutting out certain areas of the posts that took quite a bit of time and skill on his part as it was very meticulous work. The end result was a solid and well built deck that is ready for paint and stain. They completed their work in a short amount of time, in fact less than we had figured and cleaned the job site immaculately. This was one of the most pleasant experiences we have had in working with any sub-contractor in many years. The fact Andy is an Army veteran, like myself made it a more pleasureable experience. I would highly recommend him for any deck or fence work that you may have. He is a fine example of what excellent work home owners should receive from their contractors.
