The two men behind the counter were both helpful and friendly, and the store was not too crowded to maintain Covid-distancing (something I've experienced at Grocery Outlet). Unfortunately, I live closer walking distance to the shops on San Bruno than to Leland Ave. but I will certainly return to Leland Market for future needs. I'd like to share some feedback about my experience with a cashier today. As we were checking out, the register wasn't working properly. Before we had a chance to move over and push the groceries down, the cashier told us to "push it down" in a very rude and impatient tone. We were already planning to do that, but there were a customer paying still. I understand that equipment can be frustrating, but I didn't appreciate the way we were spoken to. ( Simply making the interior brighter would give it a more welcoming atmosphere). The Fish & Poultry section is cleaned daily but still has that certain Chanel about it, but such is this type of environment. This location has a bit less going for it than its Sister store on the Hill by Philz coffee , but nonetheless it's still a place l would go to in a hurry. My wife was there the other day and picked up some mangoes and other things, the checkout service is still pretty good. Now when she got home and cut open a few mangoes; they were found to be very Bad inside but looked good on the outside. Despite this bad fruit situation, l have had many other Good situations that will keep me coming back to this location.
