When I first contacted these guys they seemed awesome and the lady I talked to understood what we…read morewere looking for perfectly. We had agreed on a genre and theme. We told them we had uptight family on both sides and didn't want anything crass or edgy. nothing sexual or explicit. They said they completely understood. they were super supportive all the way up to the wedding. On the day of the wedding the DJ showed up but it wasn't who we were told would be there. we got some friend or employee who didn't seem to know what she was doing. she expressed that she was newer which was mildly alarming because we paid in full for someone who WASNT newer. She was completely unaware of the plan for the wedding layout and didn't know where to set up. we had to walk her through everything that was already planned and written in the wedding plans. As the wedding was going we noticed that we were past due for our next activity and the DJ completely missed the que. we had to tell her that we needed to move on and she did at that point. we mentioned that we need her to keep the party moving along and that she can use the timed planner to know when to do everything (which she already should have known). she didn't announce any future activity without being reminded. we did the cake cutting, bouquet toss, couples games, father/daughter, and mother/son dances all having to remind her to move the event along. by the end we just asked her to do the music and we'll have a groomsman come up and do announcements with the mic. That was the best solution to that problem. When the dance started we were surprised to hear one of the most awkward playlists ever at a wedding. we had specifically asked for no more than 2 line dances, no hard language, and basically a fun, upbeat 60s-80s love songs and songs that could be danced to. What played was 2000s funk pop with swearing, rap, and lewd lyrics. None of these songs were well known. they were obscure and strange. sounded like they were all by Diggable Planets but with a dirty mouth. And when we asked her to get back on the playlist they said they had prepared, she played no less than 6 line dances in a row. needless to say, both sides of the family were awkward and many guests left once the music started. we had to keep asking her to play the requested genres. The songs would veer back off track after every 3rd song or so. every time we looked to see what was happening, the DJ seemed lost in her own world jamming to these songs like she was in her own bedroom rather than DJing at our wedding. We were just exasperated with this performance. By the end of the night I had multiple people come up to me and comment how strange the music was at the wedding and ask me if i meant something by it. My wife and I summed up the night and tabulated all the happening at the wedding to see how things went. We found that it would have been more affordable to buy professional speakers like the ones they brought and to play our own songs off our own phone. The DJ didn't MC like we agreed. Didn't play the right songs we agreed to. Didn't pay attention to the playlists. Didn't read the room, didn't adapt back to the intended course that was previously agreed to. if you order from here MAKE SURE YOU GET THE EXACT DJ YOU ASK FOR. We got the wish.com DJ.

I recently got married in July and found Jordan at our venue. After meeting with him, I knew he was…read moreexactly what we were looking for. He was more than just a DJ and made us feel comfortable about the whole process. He even met with us in person a month before the wedding just to make sure we had everything we needed. He is a true professional and helped us plan the flow of the wedding, from the song my wife would walk down to, to the end of the night. Throughout the night he would check up on us and make sure everything was going good. When you hire this company, you are receiving a full service DJ that will help with directing people and making sure everything goes according to plan. I recommend anyone looking for a DJ/ MC to use their services, you will not be disappointed. Thanks again Jordan!

The compliments kept flowing throughout the night. With minimal context given during our pre zoom call, he captured the essence of us and our guests flawlessly. He was able to adjust to our very lax timeline, and was generally a lovely, supportive presence on our big day. An emcee/dj is huge part of your wedding, as you're bringing in a stranger to help greet and keep your guests entertained, and Dan was downright phenomenal.

Before our big day, we chatted with him about what songs were "must plays," songs/artists we wanted to avoid, whether or not we wanted line dances or to honor song requests from guests, first dance song, etc., which was a huge help and helped us really hone in on the vibe we wanted for our big day. Richie was very professional and easy to work with -- he honored our requests, was there early to set up, made announcements to transition from ceremony to reception + cake cutting + bouquet toss, and even came by us a couple times during the night to ensure we had food and water. He was also a TON OF FUN, bringing lots of energy to the party and making the night so fun and memorable for us. I wouldn't hesitate even a single second to work with Richie again -- he truly is the Best DJ In Utah!
