Pete Antrobus had always been thoughtful about the work, and I had admired many of his designs in the store. For a (big) birthday I asked Pete to make a pair of earrings for me that adapted the design of a bracelet in the store that I loved. He listened to what I wanted, sketched ideas, modified plans to meet my goals, and applied his expertise to ensure the final design and product made sense structurally and aesthetically. In December, my boyfriend was frantically looking for a place to set his grandmother's diamond after a mishap with another setting. He happened upon this nice little shop and was met with helpful and enthusiastic service. Though the setting he wanted and the diamond that he had wasn't the ideal combination for the jeweler here, since they particularly do customization and their own designing, everything worked out perfectly. Onto my dealings with the couple that own this shop. I had to come in to get the ring sized. This was also in December, so we had to account for cold hands and such, but I did end up going twice for sizing. The first time, I was told I "have no knuckles" and need to get the ring sized pretty small, so that's what we did. It ended up so small that my finger was very uncomfortable and there was an immediate purple line where the ring was. Upon going back, I was discouraged from going up a portion of a size (I think we only ended up going up a half or quarter) due to my lack of knuckles again. This got a little frustrating, since I knew that where it was then was uncomfortable and not what I wanted. In the end, after a second sizing, we found the perfect size for me and I couldn't be happier. Despite some hangups and the whole process of getting the ring sized more than once (and fighting for it) being a little stressful, I'd definitely recommend coming here for customized jewelry needs. They do great work and are genuinely nice people.

My…read more2-yearold HP laptop would not restart, even after following all the manufacturer's guidance from hotline. Marty at PCFixMe! answered my call, offered to fix later that same day, and when I drove up to CLE, he did troubleshooting and identified issues with motherboard. He corrected it, said it was common issue, and provided tips to prevent it (properly shutting down laptop). He also showed me how to remove back of motherboard and unplug/replug in battery, and provided me with small screwdrivers so I could do it myself if needed. Which I did when similar issues came up the next week. Twice. The solution worked temporarily, but... when my screen went black the following week, I called Marty to discuss. Since I was located an hour away, he kindly offered several options, one of which included helping me purchase a new laptop if motherboard was bad- worst case scenario. When I took the laptop to him, he did trouble shooting, laptop did not reboot, motherboard was bad and we proceeded to shop online for a replacement. He recommended a replacement, and he ordered it then and there. When it arrived a few days later at his shop, he called to tell me he noticed a scuff on the cover and also found that it did not have all he had expected in hardware, and apologized for his mistake. We discussed an alternative Lenovo laptop - also less expensive - and he purchased. When it arrived several days later, I picked it up. Marty was honest with me again and told me my old laptop eventually did reboot! I said I'd keep it as a backup, but I needed a reliable alternative for my new business. And I was back up and running within 4 business days. Marty at PCFixMe! is honest, prompt, professional, courteous and exceeds expectations! What a breath of fresh air.

When we went to pick up the truck we were made to wait for 45 minutes with no explanation other than the employee who handled the rentals was with someone. Finally she came out of the office without acknowledging us in any way, she never apologized for the wait and then got combative and incredibly rude, going as far as to insinuate we lied about when we reserved the truck. She also failed to give us a copy of the contract with the mileage and gas information and we believe we were overcharged for the amount of gas we had to put in when we returned the truc as the truck was driven about a total of ten miles total.. We returned the truck at different location and had a dramatically different experience. I want to make it clear this is not on UHaul at all.
