I was still having issues with the brakes and took it back 3 times. One of those times I went to pick it up and it wouldn't start. They said oh you need to start it in neutral. Are you kidding me. It wasn't like that when I brought it in. They continued to run diagnostics and found some electrical codes which they don't do. So I took it to a GMC dealership. They put it up on the lift and found parts of the frame were rotted through. Said it was not safe to drive and wouldn't put anymore money in it. Of course Firestone said the opposite. Stating GMC didn't want to work on the vehicle so they were making excuses. The people at Firestone are shady as hell. Beware and don't take them at their word.

I also had smelled gasoline in my car multiple times. Diogo arrived promptly and it was convenient to have him working on my car while I was at home. He was incredibly thorough with checking the car for possible fuel leaks. I also learned a lot from his inspection. I asked him to remove and re-install the brakes to make sure they had been installed correctly. He did it so quickly and discovered that Meineke had not properly lubricated a part, which is what had caused the noise. After he was done, we took a test drive in the car and the noise was gone. The brakes were so smooth after that. I hired Diogo a second time to change my spark plugs. Again he was very quick and efficiently got the job done. I appreciated his recommendations for which spark plugs to use. My car is running great, and I will be trusting Diogo with all my future car maintenance.

I had my front breaks worked on 3 weeks ago. No noise came from these breaks but I was told they…read moreneeded to be replaced. Since then the breaks in the front make a loud squeaking noise almost every time i pull to a stop. It's beyond distracting and frustrating to hear this loud sound at each stop sign and stop light. I took the car back and explained the issue. The mechanic came back and said the noise was from the back. I already had the back breaks replaced and the loud noise was clearly coming from upfront of the car, not it's rear. When I pull forward to a stop they squeal. That is what front breaks do. The breaks do not squeal when i pull backwards to a stop. The back breaks would do that. I asked the manager to give the car a test drive and he declined saying he would not hear the breaks because he has bad hearing. The money I spent put me in a financial hole. I spent over 500 dollars. I paid for good work and they refused to fix the problem. Instead they tried to sale me more products to maybe give a solution to the issue they said was not an issue... Yet the poor break job they did, they refused to fix. Trust in people is supposed to mean something. Such trust can create lasting clients. Breaking faith can loss them. Because of the significant pressure loss, I wanted the tire fixed as soon as possible. I called the location at 9:34am on 8/12 and was told to bring the car and they would take care of it right away. I was told I did not need an appointment. I was there within 15 minutes. When I arrived, I was told by Jeremy the wait would be approximately 30 minutes. After a few minutes Jeremy told me it was actually going to be an hour because someone had left. I waited for an hour and a half. After that entire wait, I looked outside and my vehicle was still sitting exactly where I had parked it. No one had even looked at the vehicle. At least 4 cars that came in after me, were serviced before me. I went to the counter and asked for my keys because I was going to take my vehicle somewhere else. Travis was at the counter at this point. He told me he would take the car right away and do it himself and he was sorry he didn't know what happened. Jeremy came back into the waiting area and started to argue with me about the wait time. Denying he told me it would be 30 minutes twice. Indicating he told me it was going to be over an hour and that I didn't have an appointment. He was the one that I spoke to before I went to the shop and he is the one that told me I didn't need any appointment. He told me to go somewhere else when I asked for my keys. I completely understand that a busy shop can experience delays. What I don't understand is telling a customer the wait will be 30 minutes, allowing them to wait 90 minutes without even looking at their vehicle, and then arguing with them. I'm appalled at the way Jeremy spoke to me and treated me. After all of that, Travis told me I needed a new tire because of where the screw was located. After all of that, I never got the tire fixed because I refused to spend a dollar in a place where I was treated so poorly. Especially when I did my due diligence and called before I went there. The lack of communication and especially the employee's attitude and response were unacceptable. I hope Mavis corporate management addresses this because customers should be treated with professionalism and respect, even when a location is busy.

They took a look and found the actual problem quickly; turned out to be a loose positive battery cable & and fixed it right away. They were honest, didn't try to upsell me, and didn't even charge me for the repair. It's not easy to find a mechanic you can trust, and I really appreciate their integrity and professionalism. I'll definitely be coming back as i live in walking distance and I'll absolutely be recommending them to others.

The alternator was bad and the serpentine belt needed to be replaced. They took care of it all and it was great service and a very reasonable price. A couple weeks later I needed some brake work done, oil change and tire rotation and there was a noise when I would accelerate. I made an appointment to drop it off at 9 am and at 1245 they called to let me know it was done. They replaced all rotors and pads, adjusted the parking brake, oil change and tire rotation and replaced the serpentine belt since it had cracks in it. I guess at 293,000 miles it was time to change the belt on the Camry! . Justin is a great guy and offers quality service and is very friendly and professional!
