If you are needing a great garage door repair/installation contractor, Phil Hamilton (Hamilton…read moreOverhead Doors) is top notch, and has my highest recommendation! We have an over-sized/heavy door and Phillip was able to order the very large torsion springs needed (we had one break, and you don't replace just one) and get them replaced and the door fully tuned and working great again quickly and efficiently. Our door always had some issues before especially with noise, and he was able to solve that completely by replacing our old rollers and fully lubricating all door elements. It has never worked or sounded better! I love supporting him as a small independent workman with his own business, who fully stands behind and warranties his work, and is not trying to up-sell or over charge. His willingness to work on weekends and accommodate schedules is testament to his work ethic. You may have other choices, but none better. I see one other (poor) review here from someone in Seattle WA... I don't know who he thought he was reviewing, but Phil Hamilton is local to central Oklahoma. That review appears to be garbage.

I don't usually leave negative reviews, but I feel it's important to share my experience. On July…read more8, 2026, Abdul, the owner, came to my home to check why my garage door sometimes wouldn't close all the way. He sprayed lubricant only on the left side of the garage door rollers, which fixed the issue. However, he then told me the spring was "coming apart," which was not true. Another garage company inspected it afterward and confirmed the spring was completely fine. I was charged $120 for a quick spray on a couple of rollers, and the additional claim about the spring was misleading. Based on my experience, I would not recommend this company because it was obvious that Abdul needs to learn how to treat his customers. Now the other side of my garage door is squeaking. Mel

He was flexible with scheduling as we have 3 kids in sports and our days are chaotic. He came out within 2 days and he not only replaced our broken spring but also did a full tune up of our system including recalibrating the motor, lubricating all the joints of our door, checking our rails, and thoroughly checking our door for any damage from the fall when the spring broke. On top of it all he was more than fair on his pricing. We are so grateful to be back up and running with a working garage door and it sounds better than ever. We will be referring all of our friends and family to Rodney!

In my view, Small Town Property Revival is your go-to handyman company. They have done several…read moreprojects for me both large and small. The biggest project involved installing new boards on my second-story deck, creating a header and gate to the roof, a gate to the stairs, rebuilding a stairway and landing, and lattice and staining for a finished look. Since the initial install, Small Town has done some repairs and went in to reinforce the deck with more robust 6 X 6, concrete footers, other repairs, and darker stain. Other projects have included scraping and painting in a bathroom, repairing double-hung windows, and installing French doors. They have removed floor tiles, and removed old worn-out furniture from the house as well. All along, Small Town has been fantastic to work with, communicative, and reasonably priced. I highly recommend this handyman company.

The warranty company set me up with EHL. Previously I'd not heard of the business. I was told I would be called in 48 hours to set up an appointment; they called me the next morning. I was called on Tuesday, they were able to set me a time for 3:00 - 5:30 on Wednesday. I was also told that if they had a cancellation Tuesday they would call me. No cancellation, but the service guy arrived at my house before 3:10 on Wednesday. Very prompt. He looked at the opener and had the issue diagnosed and resolved in under a half hour. I was able to pay with a credit card and he offered to email or text me the receipt in addition to providing me a hard copy of the service invoice. The technician, Josh, couldn't have been nicer. Great experience, I have found my garage door company should I have any additional issues in the future. Highly recommended.
