Baden-Baden is famous for its thermal spas that date back to the time of the Romans. In fact, there is an archeological site that you can visit with remains of an old Roman thermal spa. Baden-Baden is a UNESCO World Heritage Center known as part of the "Great Spa Towns of Europe."
We opted for a textile required modern thermal spa. (The other spa is a coed textile free spa. No thank you.) Caracalla Therme was so relaxing for a few hours. We bought a pass that was buy two hours, get the third for free which worked perfectly with our and the cave with a heated spa pool. So enjoyable.
Make sure to bring a bathing suit, towel, sunscreen and water. So nice to spend the afternoon relaxing at the spa.
