4 stars just for the actual pool, which is really nice and unexpectedly deep at one end (i.e. this pool has A LOT of water).
Because of the limited operating hours, M-F 12:30pm - 2:30pm, this pool is used mostly by swimmers who want to get a few laps done around lunchtime. Add to that that it is walking distance from the university, and you see why this pool also tends to be crowded. For crowded I mean 4-6 swimmers per lane. You can still swim, but getting into a rhythm is challenging. Some days may be less crowded, but it's kinda random. Also, the pool is overall darker than most pools I've been to.
The changing rooms are "public campsite in former Yugoslavia circa 1973" style, with toilets that are a hole on the ground, wooden benches, and communal showers.
Some practical stuff:
- Single access is €5.80, but you get a discount if you buy a pass for 10 sessions, 20 sessions, monthly pass, 4-month pass, yearly pass, etc...
- You have to take your shoes off BEFORE entering the changing rooms. You can leave the shoes outside, or you can put them in your bag and bring them with you.
- You will need your own lock to use a locker, but you can take all your stuff to the deck with you. read more
