    This is a huge park adjacent to the River Po that contains many 'visit worthy' spots including a…read morebotanical garden, museum and Medieval village. Sandwiched between Corso Massimo d'Azeglio and the River Po, sweeping green-ways make a perfect place to sunbathe, play with the kids or dog, play music and enjoy a beautiful day. On the south end of the park, across from Borgo Medievale, is a beautifully designed garden including many pathways and water features running throughout. Walking the road that runs along the river are many cafe kiosks where you can stop for a sandwich, coffee or soda. The path also dips down toward the river providing places to sit at the waters edge. Be sure to take a walk through the medievale village. Vendors were selling balloons too! On the north end of the park, near the Vittorio Emanuele tram stop, we encountered several people sitting or standing around who appear to be 'scoping out' the persons walking by. On our first visit we walked around this area and followed Corso Vittorio Emanuele to the river. On my second visit I made the mistake of walking toward the tram stop inside the park and was accosted by some of these men. I do not wish to dissuade you from visiting this beautiful park. I just want to caution you, if you get off at this tram stop, walk down the main road to the river to enter the park across from Corso Cairoli or walk south along Corso d'Azeglio before entering.

Some taking in the sun whilst others enjoying a drink or a meal at one of the many kiosks, cafes, make shift bars, proper bars and other such places. A great place for people watching and taking in the sun. It's a very local park and you don't see a ton of tourists there. As the afternoon went on it got busier and busier. You can rent bikes and pedal or go boating in the river.
