If you find the inflatable art take a picture and post it to Instagram with the tag @BrowardArts with the hashtag ArtAcrossBroward. A winner from each location will win tickets to the festival and the picture with the most likes will win meet the band passes. The contest is a partnership between the Broward Cultural Division, Broward County Board of County Commissioners, Greater Fort Lauderdale Convention & Visitors Bureau, and Entercom Radio. I caught the pop up art exhibit at the Pompano Beach Cultural Arts Center. The exhibit was made up of four large inflatable sculptures, Lucky Link meant to symbolize breaking the chains keeping us from living our best life, The Mirror, a large rainbow symbolizes justice and balance, Yellow Submarine represents a message of peace and love, and Stair to See Ants is a black ladder which is a recognizable form but presented in a way that brings happiness. I had fun trying to come up with creative ways to photograph the art. There were a lot of other people out enjoying the colorful display as well. It is a nice chance to win tickets to a great festival and enjoy the arts at the same time. Next weekend new inflatables will pop up at another location for another chance to win.

Not only did Picture Framing & Art Gallery frame this treasured artifact beautifully; they used a special preservative matting and glass that will keep this scroll from ever fading or deteriorating! My Boss was so impressed with their work that he went back with a pile of old family photos to be framed. This second time around the shop made arrangements for a skilled carpenter to come to his house and properly hang and arrange his framed pieces for him. Not only do the people here know what they are talking about when it comes to art, they seem to have a genuine interest in meeting their customers' needs with excellent service. I wish we had more places like it and I can't wait to see how my frames turn out!

The piece was created by Israeli artist Yaacov Adam using color and light to show his vision that art should be moving, not just lying there flat. Located on the first floor of the main library, the sculpture measures 24 ft. By 4 ft and is hanging on the wall. It is made of triangle shaped segments of aluminum. How the sculpture looks to you depends on where you are standing to view it. The art installation was dedicated at the library on December 10, 1986. I loved looking at this art piece from different angles. At first I was just passing by it but then I caught movement out of the corner of my eye. After looking at it more it reminded me of a kaleidoscope changing colors. I really enjoyed discovering it on my recent trip to the library.
