They aren't serious golfers, but they are always ready to have fun. This place has a pitch and putt that is super fun! And just $5 ea! It's great for all ages and abilities. The greens are artificial, so temper your expectations, but you still have to hit creative shots! The best thing about this place is the staff! the pro shop guys are unreal friendly and they make it fun and accessible for everyone! They will give you free rental clubs and free balls for the pitch and putt. I've been playing fir about 30 years and have never met a better staff. They took care of us, even though we weren't locals, they treated us so good. It really made our trip. The previous day we went to riyal Liverpool for the 151st open championship(amazing!!!), but we got absolutely drenched. This was a great way to end the trip. And just 7 pounds for 100 balls, great prices!

The driving range is good (although some bays do lack tee's) and the pro-shop is well stocked. However the gem of this whole place is the 9 hole pitch and putt course. It is set out like a mini championship course with proper doglegged holes, bunkers, water, everything!

There is a pay and display car park at one side of the gardens, however as it is centrally located you can easily walk to it from most hotels and the town centre. For tourists new to the area, there is a Tourist Information Centre which will provide you with lots of information about Buxton and the surrounding Peak District area. Hundred of events are held within the gardens over the year, mainly located in the Octagon Hall. These included farmers markets and fetes etc. during my visit a few weekends ago there was an Art based festival taking place where clothing, photographs, jewellery, furniture and other art works were being displayed and some offered for sale. For those searching for a little more fun suitable for the younger generations, there is a large park fully equipped with swings and slides as well as a miniature train which offers rides around one section of the park. If you're wanting to stop for a short refreshment break there are plenty of places to pick from, including outside and inside cafes serving both hot and cold food as well as ice creams. On my next trip to Buxton I will definitely be heading back here as there was plenty of things I didn't get to see.

It took us 14 minutes to complete the Bozo course. £33 for 14 minutes is awful value for money! It's crammed in the corner of the top floor. The majority of holes are short and not very exciting. Because it's crammed and small some of the holes are very difficult for right handed players, because the holes are too close to the walls. The worst experience we've had at crazy / mini golf. I would not recommend this place at all and there are loads of alternative places with much better courses and better value for money.

Well, Junkyard Golf Club may have just come up with the perfect solution. They say that the best business deals are negotiated on the links, with that in mind after a long day of meetings we decided to unwind on the golf course, the crazy golf course of course. We visited around 5:30pm on a Tuesday and it was quite empty, we were probably one of two groups in. We immediately headed for the club house, by that I mean bar. I noticed they served a whole range of bottled beers from premium to craft - we went for the Kozel on draft, only 4% and £4.50 at Junkyard. This was the perfect on course refreshment. After the bar we headed towards the course, it's actually quite amazing that you can squeeze so many holes in to such a small space. We payed course one (yep, there's two nine hole courses). Most of the holes are challenging without being impossible. Before starting they make you sign a quick waiver. We were lucky as we were the only two playing our course but I can imagine at peak times it could get quite cramped. All the holes are themed, the first was Steven Seagull for example. It took us around 30 minutes to get through the nine holes. I for one really enjoyed it - was a great activity. Unfortunately I lost by four shots but I'd be pretty sure I'd have made the cut if it was a tournament. All in all an excellent addition - something that Belfast could do with. Highly recommended!

This 2 star rating is a real shame but I feel short changed after coming here…read more The entrance looks so exciting and brilliant and it looks like you have the course to yourselves. How wrong could we be! You end queing endlessly for holes, which aren't particularly hard or exciting. Its less adventure course and more boring course than anything. We didn't come with a voucher, after finding one afterwards which annoyed me as I forked out £16 to play some boring golf and queue. Make the course harder/bigger/ more interesting and less queuing please! Unfortunately wouldn't come here again:(

Featuring two different courses, this is a fun place to take the kids but also good fun for a staff night out as we found out when we wandered along to it for a fun evening! It's not dead expensive (£7 per adult, £5 per child) and you get a discount if you're in a group. The courses are set out really well, some of the holes are quite challenging and it can get quite embarrassing when you're on your 15th shot and there's a queue of six other groups behind you...was that just me?! Oh right...! The novelty theme is very well played out throughout the entire place and the decor is fantastic. It's the sort of place you can kinda of go to with anyone, dads would love it, kids love it, it's a good place to go for a date (no really it is!) and we had a right laugh when I went with work! It's funny to see how competitive men get whilst playing...hehehe!
