I have been to this lovely place a few times and I have never disappointed. BF of mine lives in Garstang so this place is fab to go to for lunch and even better in the evening.
The building is from the 18th century with low ceilings and oak beams. The walls are a mixture of stone and rustic texture. Modern furnishings with nice atmosphere.
The a la carte menu has lots of choices. The starter of pan seared king scallops, butternut squash & pancetta purée with lemon foam delicious. The pan seared sea trout with shrimp and fennel sauce yummy. The puddings are so gorg it's hard to make a decision of what to have. I love the idea of their trio puddings as it gives you the chance for a taste sensation.
If you live within a 20 mile radius this place is definitely worth a visit. Xoxo read more
