I love going to their clincan.I am always greeted with a smile and ther staff are all so niceread more

I was really looking forward to my appointment but I cancelled before I had it…read more I went online and used the online booking option, first mistake. After that I received 5 emails from Red Leaf Wellness. The first one was to confirm my appointment and I think that's fair and completely standard for business. The second was an email about the scheduling, the third was to confirm the confirmation I had made by a) making the appointment and b) by confirming the first email, the fourth email was a reminder emailing about my appointment, the fifth email was to get me to sign up for their patient records and fill out the intake forms. If your still with me after all that confusion with emails and annoyance of all the emails there is more! This is all one day after making my online booking for a week and half from now. Then after the emails I received a phone call from the office to tell me about the emails and that I haven't completed them. A few minutes later I received a text message about my appointment. I did not agree to text messages or emails but clearly that doesn't matter. I was also told I would need to provide a credit card so that if there was a last minute cancellation or a no show they would charge me. I understand this is for the protection of your business, but I haven't even walked in the door and you want my credit card. I'm trusting complete strangers based on their website with my well being, but after 5 harassing emails and a phone call to inform me I haven't completed your forms, I'm then told you require a credit card?? I'm supposed to trust you with my personal information, but you can't trust me for my first appointment? I canceled my appointment, and when asked if I want to rebook I said no. I was speaking with one of the two practitioners who runs this business. I would think when I said no there would have been more of a conversation about why I was cancelling. Oh well. Here's my review. I will find some where else to have acupuncture done.

The office is nicely decorated. Dr. Narayan is a great chiropractor. I saw her throughout my pregnancy and numerous car accidents. My young daughter is going now in order to prevent any dance related injuries that we can. I feel completely confident in recommending her to anyone.

I am hesitant to write this review - selfishly - as I want to keep Angelina a secret. But she…read moredeserves the rave review so I am going ahead. I am rating this clinic based solely on Angelina, an RMT (registered massage therapist) who works at this clinic. I have no experience with any of the chiropractors or other staff so cannot speak to them at all. Angelina used to work at another clinic and moved to Ellerslie, and I followed her there. I don't go regularly but usually I make an appointment when I've thrown out my upper or lower back. She works absolute miracles. She is one of the best - if not THE best - I have ever had. The pressure is just perfect - deep (but not painful). She seems to know exactly where to work to make things better, and she does not just work that area but areas close that may be affecting it as well. It is calming and relaxing and she has a heated bed which is clean and comfortable. She chats at the beginning of the massage, to make small talk and see how you are doing, but then works quietly so you can relax. Prices are in keeping with the current going rates for registered massage therapists and can be covered if you have insurance/extended health plan. Above all, she is kind, friendly, and totally professional and respectful, so it really is a treat to go and see her. Although my back is feeling better (as usual after I see her), this time I booked again for another massage to give myself a treat. I just hope after posting this that I'm not going to make it harder to get in to see her - though she really deserves it! Keep up the fantastic work, Angelina!

They were both very nice and listened attentively to the issues I was having with my neck, shoulders and headaches. They were both keen to help. At the end of each accupuncture treatment, they did cupping on my back. Cupping is not the most comfortable experience but combined with the accupuncture, the benefits and relief are amazing. It's not a fancy spa in a great location - so if you put that idea aside, then it's good. The only off putting part for me is the burning smell inside. I think they burn something for a particular treatment but it smells throughout the building and I don't enjoy it. I find the smell lingers on me after I've left. But it doesn't stop me from going back. Interesting fact - Dr. Joe teaches at MacEwan and has for a really long time.

I have massages from Teresa and Barkley and acupuncture from Dr. Jane, Dr. Joe and Barkley and have no hesitation referring any of the staff! Most actually teach at Grant Mac as well. If you have an issue with needles, let them know and they will out you at ease. Acupuncture does not cause pain and you will feel soooooo much better after a treatment. If you need traditional Chinese herbs or medicine the clinic also supplies it.
