Though I'm not taking back any of what I said the first time, I figured an update was due since I…read morewent to my second class. It probably took me 10 minutes of walking around to find the studio. Only after stopping a girl that was walking back to her car and asking, was I able to find it. The storefront is all window. Which is why I don't understand why they don't take artistic liberties and paint the windows (with something non-permanent) so passers-by can easily tell what the building's business is. After ordering a glass of wine, (at least they have some $5 glasses) and sitting near the front, I noticed that the painting at the front of the room was not the painting that I thought I would be doing. I brought my concern to the artist , and she informed me, after checking the calendar, that the painting I went for was actually on Tuesday. My bad. BUT! Chloe was awesome and got me some green and let me go at it making the painting I wanted, rather than following the class. Halfway through she found a copy of the painting and brought it over so I could look at it rather than at my dying phone (which was grainy because of the size of the picture anyways). In the end I was pretty happy with the painting though it wasn't exactly like the example - it's not supposed to be, right? The staff was a lot nicer this time around, but considering my overall experience and the price, I'm sticking with my 2*s

The location is gorgeous, eclectic, and larger than May paint place I've been before. You are provided all of the natiwrals... just bring yourself and have fun. Something that wasn't a big deal for me, but was an issue for my mom, was the quantity of participants and how super-close together you sit during the class. It was PACKED the Saturday we went, so we were literally painting elbow to elbow. The two ladies sitting next to my mom and I asked to be moved to a back table off to the side because we were packed in. Although I was willing to deal with it, they complained and o e stated, "I don't want to hit this gal with my elbow for two hours". Due to the amount of people, the talking and lively conversations, and Christmas music okaying in the background (which I love), it was challenging to hear the lead instructor. Again, I managed and went kinda rouge, but my sweet mama was getting frustrated (and a little overwhelmed). Overall, it was a fun and energized experience, just being honest with regard to other factors so people know going in what it might look like or feel like. I'm going back for sure, even if I'm flying solo---I'm obsessed with painting chill time.

We had an instructor who was knowledgeable and helpful....although her attempt at humor throughout the night fell flat. (Sorry). There was another gal there who ran the refreshment stand and also helped us. We could always easily get help if we needed it. The concession stand was pretty good. They had beer and wine and a bunch of canned stuff like margaritas and piña colada's, things like that. They also had soda and chips. It was a good "snack only" concession stand. Overall, we had a great night and I would highly recommend this place..

It was a tiny bit cramped but everyone was kind and understanding. We never felt rushed, and the project was done in the allotted 2 hours for the workshop we were in. The staff available were great at keeping things going and being organized during the process. They have very detailed instructions and helped point out what was done with certain signs already made on the walls This is definitely the perfect place for a group of friends, a birthday party for adults and older kiddos who can handle listening to and following instructions. I personally plan to come back for another workshop.
