My 5 year old son attends this preschool and we absolutely loves it! He started attending Pinole Montessori about six months ago and the progress and improvement I've seen in him is astonishing! He attended a franchise daycare from the time he was six months old and the pandemic hit about a year later. He then stayed home from age 1.5 to 4. I put him back in that franchise daycare for a couple of months and he wasn't happy there. He cried daily, he wasn't learning anything, I felt like he was being babysat instead of in preschool. Since I work from home, I wasn't able to teach him like I wanted to. He came to Pinole Montessori with the ability to count to 5, didn't know his entire alphabet, and had behavior issues. Six months later, he knows how to count to 20, can identify letters and numbers, can spell and write his name, and is on his very best behavior. He is happy to go to school and has even cried to go to school one day when they were closed. The staff here are all very nice and attentive. Ms. Tina and Ms. Melinda are great teachers and my son absolutely adores them. I've sat in on class and was surprised at how quiet and attentive the kids were! I've even seen them play musical chairs and I would imagine kids to get rough and push and cry during the game. These kids were all very gentle and applauded each other for trying. The atmosphere here feels family-like and I truly love it here. My older kids attended the franchise day are for 12+ years and said they wish I found this preschool sooner for them. Keep up the good work Pinole Montessori! I'm sad that my baby will be aging out soon

Ms. Sidhu the dedicated teacher of little beginners.

Both my kids attended LGM! Great teachers, reasonable priced and nice and always clean facility. My kids still misses their preschool. :)

Dina doesn't just care for the children's day-to-day needs; she helps prepare them for the next stages of life, from preschool to kindergarten and beyond. We've had all three of our children in Dina's care over the years, and choosing her daycare was honestly one of the best decisions we've ever made. From the very beginning, Dina created an environment where our kids felt safe, loved, and excited to learn every day. Her routines are consistent and thoughtful -- from meals and naps to playtime and learning activities -- and she gives each child the attention they need to succeed. Thanks to her patient teaching and creative projects, our kids learned so much -- recognizing letters, numbers, shapes, and colors -- and even started writing their names by age three. By the time they moved on to kindergarten, they were confident, curious, and more than ready both academically and socially. Dina's home is always welcoming, filled with fun learning materials and toys that spark curiosity and independence. She's great about keeping parents informed and is always honest and open in her communication, which made us feel completely at ease. Dina is more than a caregiver-she's like a second mom. She truly loves and supports each child as if they were her own. She, along with Miss Rene, Kara, Big Karey, and Karey Michael, have built such a loving community where kids learn kindness, confidence, and compassion. We'll truly miss Dina and her amazing team. Our family is forever grateful for the care, love, and strong foundation she's given our children and the positive impact she's had on our lives. With her years of experience, what our kids gained from their time with her is absolutely priceless. We will miss our daycare family!

The environment was fun and felt safe for our little one. It was definitely hard to send our him off but we knew he would be in excellent care. We love Dina and our little one does too. Its been over 2 years and he has learned so much which is preparing him for kindergarten this fall (2025). Thank you Dina and Ms Renee for all you do for these kids.

Flores Academy provides a welcoming and safe space for our child to learn through a variety of ways in both English and in Spanish. Each month has a theme with updated curriculum every week. Not only do we hear from the teachers about what they are instructing the class on, but our daughter comes home excited to show us her art project(s) or dance/exercise/stretch moves. The team is great with updates and answering any questions. They provide meals for the children and even support the potty training process. Our family is very thankful for their support and happy we found them!

Thanks to her care, my daughter adjusted smoothly and even met her best friend there, who is now in the same TK class with her! My younger daughter is currently enrolled and started when she was about 10 months old. She'll be turning 2 in April, and it amazes us how much she learns and grows every day. She comes home showing us new things, has so much fun, loves her teachers, and genuinely gets excited when we're on our way to school. Karen does an amazing job with communication. She sends out a monthly newsletter and curriculum at the beginning of each month, and we always know what the kids are learning and working on. The consistency, care, and attention they provide truly make this place special. We're so grateful to have found a daycare where our children feel happy, safe, and loved.

My child attended from 18 months to 4 years old. I was incredibly apprehensive about starting due to separation anxiety, but they made him feel completely comfortable from day one.In addition to sending daily pictures and providing excellent communication, they truly support your child's growth. My kid is high energy and super active. Cecy met his energy with her own high energy--I truly don't know how she does it all! The learning program is fantastic. She met him exactly where he was at and used interactive games to teach. He was fully ready for TK when he left. They also do weekly library and park trips, plus walking trips to see the neighborhood. What makes Tiny Footprints truly special is the family atmosphere. All the kids become part of Cecy's family. The group of families is so tight-knit that they do playdates and movie nights on their own outside of school and "alumni" visit long after attending. Cecy also offers movie nights for the kids, after-hours care for date nights, and she even kept my son when I had a week-long work trip. We just moved away from the Bay Area last week, and leaving TF was so incredibly hard. We miss them so much already! If you want a safe, loving environment where your child will truly thrive, this is the place!

Big Steps Educational Daycare - Big Steps Christmas Program

It's not just a daycare--it's a safe place for children to learn, grow, and thrive in an environment that celebrates both excellence and diversity. As a "Black-owned business", Big Steps stands tall. Yet what makes it even more special is the variety of families and nationalities who bring their children here, each one welcomed with open arms. There is a strong sense of unity and shared peace of mind that every child is nurtured and valued, regardless of background. I've recommended Big Steps to other parents with full confidence. In fact, a couple I know has traveled all the way from Vallejo, California, across the bridge because of my recommendation. They expressed having the same beautiful experience. They've told me they would happily return if ever the need arises again. That kind of consistency and trustworthiness speaks volumes. One of the most helpful features is the Emergency Care option. Life is unpredictable, and knowing there's a trusted place where your child can be cared for on short notice is an incredible relief. There's even the possibility of holiday and weekend care, which is such a thoughtful addition for working or busy parents. I believe that places devoted to children's well-being should always strive to reflect the highest levels of character and integrity, not just in how children are treated, but in every interaction within the environment. Consistent professionalism creates an atmosphere that all families can feel completely comfortable in, which is vital when building a lasting sense of community and trust. Big Steps Educational Daycare is a community gem. I'm truly grateful for the care and kindness shown to our goddaughter and to others I've referred.

We made it out for the visit, the owner was very nice in person and the site was what we were looking for, so we decided we wanted to move forward with her as we needed care asap. We sent her the dates and times that we need as requested and also my email. She replied with a long welcome paragraph and wrote that there would be more info to follow via email. She stated she would be sending documents for us to review and also to fill the following Monday. We followed up and she replied that she would be sending them the following day. we waited for the next day but nothing, so we followed up again with our intent to get all required docs filled out and to send payment as soon as possible. she replied stating she would be sending something shortly. the entire day went by and nothing. We attempted to follow up a couple more times and it was no reply after that. This delayed our search for childcare as we needed it within a week of our first meeting. We would have appreciated the common courtesy to just get denial via text or even a call. We would have been able to keep our search going. We found it very unprofessional and also bizarre as she appeared very nice in person. I honestly don't know if we triggered her in some way, we were polite through all interactions and wanted to get her everything required to enroll our daughter. If she would have just told us no or that she did not want our business, we would have been fine and moved on. we would have appreciated not wasting our time or hers. I would give zero stars if I could.

This review is long overdue…read more.. We have been taking our kids to Eva's since they were toddlers until they were ready for preschool. Eva has always kept her place and toys extra clean. Since the pandemic, she's been thorough with taking the kids temperature and making sure the kids wash their hands; none of that harsh hand sanitizer that damages your child's sensitive skin. Likewise, she also takes extra precautions in her daily life to minimize her exposure. Keeping herself healthy makes her a reliable caregiver. Eva is also very caring and patient with the kids; it's almost like having a third grandmother. Even though my oldest is in elementary and youngest is in preschool, the kids still ask to go to Eva's during school and summer breaks. Eva makes sure the kids do their workbooks or homework that we provide and provides them with plenty of arts and crafts to work on. And now that they're older, she's even offered to cook them lunch and provide snacks; one less task for me. In fact, my daughter raves about Eva's fried rice. She says Eva's fried rice is the best. After some pause, she adds mine is second best; smart girl. Hehe. We still will be sending our kids to Eva's as long as she'll have us.
