March 2024 update: The cable stabilizing the remaining two leaders on our basswood tree (ref'd above) let go when one of the two anchoring screw-eyes came out of the leader, so I called Pinnacle back to inspect and offer a recommendation. Greg came, saw the problem, and explained that the technology has evolved somewhat since the original work was done four years ago: Now, instead of a cable, the best arborist practice is a reinforced band that goes around the leader on each end with a shock absorber in the middle of the span. That sounded good to me so we scheduled the work, and today Pinnacle's crew came to install the band. From the look of it, I'd say it is a clearly superior solution to this problem, and the cost was again reasonable. I used Pinnacle Tree Service in July 2024 to have two trees trimmed. One tree was Huge. The crew that did the job were very professional and did an awesome job. It took longer then expected but the quote was honored. The clean-up was exceptional and you could not even tell they had been here. I would strongly recommend Pinnacle Tree Service. I needed several box elder trees removed, and a black locust and white pine pruned. All of these were tricky - whether it be in awkward locations or building and power line obstacles. Each were addressed perfectly and I ended up with a job well done that was more than I expected. Greg (owner), Damian (foreman) and the entire crew were professional, courteous and experienced. They put the health of the trees and my satisfaction above anything else. They would not leave until I was 100% satisfied. I could not possibly be happier with the results. Would I recommend them? I wanted to have some tree limbs trimmed and a dangerous dead tree, taken away so I Google searched for an arborist and found Pinnacle Tree. I called and spoke with Greg Wright, one of the owners. We made an appointment and he came out to give me an estimate. The estimate was good and I told him that he was hired. He called me about a week later and told me the day and time his crew would be here. The crew arrived on time and were very polite and professional. Damien, the crew chief, said that he wanted to make sure that I was satisfied 120%. The crew comprised of about 4 guys, all worked well together and again, very professional. Throughout the job, Damien kept asking me if I was satisfied with what he was cutting down. They completed the job in a timely manner and completely cleaned up afterwards. This review is way overdue. ...Especially given the remarkable professionalism, skill, attention to detail, courtesy, and uncompromising attention to safety displayed by both teams from Pinnacle Arborists. Pinnacle Arborists completed this project between July and August on a newly purchased home and property in Gardiner. Within a surprisingly short amount of time from initial contact, our project was scheduled. A highly detailed and flexible estimate was provided with a very accomodating and flexible clause for modification to every aspect of the project. On the morning of the project beginning, a team of several highly professional employees arrived on time, established a non-invasive safety perimeter on our street, gave a very professional introduction to my wife and infant daughter - and conducted (very quickly) an astronomical amount of very difficult, and at times, dangerous removal of massive tree section and branches throughout our property. During this time, each team member asked about specific details to ensure the project was being completed according to plan. As a result, the area was left very organized and undamaged, and branches easily removable for processing. The second portion of this project required an employee to complete a dangerous climb to remove extremely high branches that extended over our roof and above our daughter's room. We were concerned about the possibility of these branches falling during a storm. This team arrived as scheduled and operated with the same professionalism, skill, and courtesy as mentioned above. Furthermore, I was required to travel that morning and could not remove the fallen branches, which had all fallen outside my property line. Without question...the site manager dragged and/or carried what amounted to over 200 pounds of lumber around the corner, down the sidewalk, and onto an area of my property to be processed. Finally, I wish to credit each employee who worked on my property for the much-appreciated element of comfort, trust, and security that I felt with them on my property and in my home, especially when I left my wife and daughter alone during the second portion of the project. All in all, there are too many details to list that added to the incredible experience my family and I had while making our property safer. These guys were great!! They came and we talked about what I wanted done. They had a lot of good suggestions. Gave me a quote. We set an appointment...they showed up on time and did exactly what they said they would do. After all the trimming, they brought in a truck and loaded up all the limbs and other mess. Honestly, when they left you could not even tell they had been here (other than the fact that the trees look great). Will definitely call them again!!! read more
