This place is too cute; it's aesthetically pleasing! I…read morethought it was the coolest thing that they have showers and lockers The place is clean and organized and it's honestly admirable since it's a gym with lots of members ! Everyone is very friendly and helpful. There is a variety of workout to choose from that consist of straight, endurance, power. Strength that consist of building muscle using TRX bands and dumbbells . Endurance that focuses on burning calories using the treadmill, rower and floor work. Power that is centered on speed and agility using rows and treadmill for an explosive exercise. If you're looking for a cute spot to workout this is it!

This is the first workout I've actually enjoyed! Normally I'm the person wandering around the gym…read moredoing random things because, honestly, I have no idea what I'm doing. OrangeTheory completely changed that. The coaches are amazing--super motivating but also patient and encouraging, which makes a huge difference. I also love how inclusive it feels here. You see everyone--young, old, big, small--and it truly feels like a space where anybody belongs. The workouts are structured, fast-paced, and fun, so the time flies by. The only downside for me is getting into morning classes. As a parent with a young kiddo and a full 8-5 job, the 5 a.m. classes are the only ones that work, but they're always tough to book. Overall, though, it's such a great workout and atmosphere. I'm hooked!

I do not recommend this gym…read more Professionalism: The trainer I had was named Alex. He was extremely unprofessional, rude, and even hostile at times towards me without clear reason. I did nothing to provoke him except show up to the sessions that I paid for. To this day, it's still confusing and alarming. Sessions: Alex did not show up to two sessions and left in his vehicle while I was still exercising for one of them. I was always sore after workouts, but it helped to have a trainer who was actually present and showing up to sessions. Waste of time and money if they aren't there. Cleanliness: The bathrooms in this gym are extremely filthy. Every time I went, the toilets and the sink were not working. I told Alex about it and he didn't want to hear it. He brushed me off and told me he was aware of the issue, yet it was never resolved. The bathrooms are worthy of an OSHA complaint or a health department complaint. I considered completing one, but chose to get my refund and get out of there as fast as I could. Extra detail: I am a woman and Alex intimidated me in front of people. Knowing that he is a man, and I was on a contract made this situation unbearable. It made me feel like I couldn't defend myself without potentially losing my hard earned money. This kind of power imbalance is not OK. If you are a woman, please consider a different trainer who will not intimidate or try to humiliate you simply because he can.

The space itself is pretty small with a small front desk, two bathrooms a small hallway and then 2 workout rooms that fit about 10 people each. They had an intro offer on their website that I took advantage of, 2 free classes! One reformer and one for their other room which is mat pilates, Sculpt, bar etc. highly recommend. I took a reformer beginners class and sculpt and strength class. Both were great, challenging and good instructors. I'm enjoying the classes and the new type of workout. Only thing is the entire studio is reallllly cold, no heater on and the fans going, not sure if this is a philosophy of Pilates? Or the studio? Anyways wear long sleeves and sweaters!

I originally loved the studio, and enjoyed my classes. I even began recommending it to my friends…read moreand family. That is until recently- 1) I told a coach, Marie, that I struggled with core exercises and I don't have any strength there. She told me that's okay, the muscles separate after giving birth. I have never been pregnant in my life. That comment took me aback and made me feel worse about my body and I stopped taking her classes. 2) Pilates Barre posted a story on Instagram in sympathy of a misogynistic, racist neo-n*zi. That is entirely unprofessional of a business to post about, especially knowing how awful of a person he was and the hate he had for marginalized communities. (Note, they did not post about the school shooting that occurred within the same hour, so it was not about victims in general.) I no longer felt safe at Pilates Barre so I canceled my membership. I can not in good faith support this business and I hope you don't either.
