Instead of penalizing my tax service, the IRS penalized me, even though I filed and paid my taxes every year. Originally, I considered hiring a Tax Resolution Service to represent me. But, after reading reviews for those companies, it appeared to me that many of their clients were simply trying to reduce their tax debt. In my case, I had done everything right, and I did not want to be labeled or looked at as someone who was just wanting to have their taxes reduced. I wanted the fines eliminated!!! At first, I tried to explain my situation on my own to the IRS. They denied my request the first time to eliminate my fines, as they said that even though I used a tax service to prepare my taxes, the results were still my responsibility. Finally, I hired this law firm to represent me in an appeal. I have no idea how you explained the situation better than I did, but I just received letters from the Internal Revenue Service stating that my account for those years was settled and paid in full. Thank you!!!! Thank you!!! Thank you!!!! I was facing around $15,000.00 in fines, and those fines were settled with the work you did representing me. Closed on a house recently and used Bailey & Carlino, PLLC as the closing attorneys. The session…read morewas quick and painless (other than the down payment I had to make), but Peter Carlino was very welcoming and explained everything to me during the closing (before my hand started cramping up from signing my life away as well). The office is convenient to South Park off of Fairview. I had never had any reason to stop into the office park where the buildings "look" like houses but aren't really. Plenty of parking spaces in the surrounding parking lots.... not the easiest parking lot to navigate, but just give yourself a lot of time so you aren't zooming around the parking lot here. The interior of the office is nicely decorated.... It's a law office so I don't spend a lot of time in offices like that (nor do I want to in the future), but the space is comfortable and the receptionist was very nice. I was super early, and it seemed by her stressed out look, there were a lot of closings and appointments happening today around the same time. The process itself was very easy, and I found out that Peter was a Wake Forrest graduate (I was wearing an NC State polo). My realtor was also a Wake graduate so there was a lot of reminiscing. The recommendation to use this law firm was made by my realtor and I couldn't be happier. Hopefully I won't be in the position to buy more property in the near future, but I am happy I went with the recommendation and it all worked out in the end.
